  • The Lott, an Australian lottery company, is still searching for their Powerball winner nearly a week after calling the winning numbers
  • The company announced on Wednesday, June 18, that the mystery winner’s $100 million jackpot is waiting for them
  • If the winner claims the prize, they will become Australia’s third-biggest lottery winner ever

An Australian lottery is still looking to send $100 million to a lucky Powerball winner, nearly a week after the drawing.

The Lott announced on Wednesday, June 18, that the person holding the winning Powerball ticket has yet to claim the prize — and become the country’s third-biggest lottery winner ever.

The mysterious winner purchased the ticket at Bondi Junction Newsagency & Internet Café in Sydney.

Their winning ticket was called on Thursday, June 12, with the numbers 28, 10, 3, 16, 31, 14, 21 and 6 as the Powerball number.

Players in New South Wales have a maximum of six years to claim their winnings, but The Lott spokesperson Khat McIntyre encouraged the winner to come forward.

“We pay division one prizes two weeks after the draw, so this prize is ready to be put into someone’s bank account in a week’s time [on Friday, June 27, 2025]. What a way to end the financial year!” McIntyre said.

The Lott Members Club could have alerted the winner if they had registered their ticket to the club once they purchased it, McIntyre said.

“By registering your in-store or online lottery entry to The Lott Members Club, not only are we able to contact you straight after the draw if you win big, but your prize is secure,” McIntyre said.

“Even if you happen to lose or damage your winning ticket, if it is registered to you, we could still unite you with your prize, providing the ultimate peace of mind,” McIntyre continued. “Remember, your lottery ticket could be worth millions of dollars, so it makes sense that if you’re going to buy a ticket, you should register it to The Lott Members Club.”
