Pitch Perfect star Anna Camp went public with girlfriend Jade Whipkey in May 2025 by sharing a passionate kiss during an outing in Los Angeles.
Camp and Whipkey frequently flirted on social media in the months leading up to making their relationship official, including attending a Renaissance Pleasure Fair with Camp’s Pitch Perfect costar Rebel Wilson and other famous friends. Camp has been married twice before, first to Ozark actor Michael Mosley from 2010 to 2013 and then to her Pitch Perfect costar Skylar Astin from 2016 to 2019.
Camp soft-launched her relationship during a TikTok interview alongside Whipkey in February 2025, where the actress said she “liked women.”

1. Whipkey Is a Celebrity Stylist
Whipkey is a writer and celebrity stylist. Her LinkedIn page promotes her proficiency in “all things styling” and mentions that she graduated from Cal State Northridge in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies.
She shared via Instagram in September 2022 that she’d been hired for her first onset styling project while working with singer-songwriter Coco Jones for Hello Beautiful magazine. Whipkey collaborated with fellow stylist Casey iCON Billingsley on the shoot.

Whipkey joined brand design and creative execution firm All Worthy People in January 2024 as part of its production staff. Whipkey and Billingsley collaborated once again in December 2023 to style Keke Palmer for a Google campaign supporting Black-owned businesses across the U.S.

Whipkey worked as an art assistant on Lena Waithe’s “Legacy Talk” podcast in 2024, describing the project as “the start of a movement.”

3. Whipkey Keeps a Low Profile on Social Media
Whipkey’s first-ever Instagram post was a posed shot outside a Young Thug and Machine Gun Kelly concert in November 2019. She has kept a fairly low profile on Instagram in recent years.
At times, she has used her social media to promote social justice causes, including posting a “Black Lives Matter” banner via Instagram in May 2020. She tagged her post with the messages “silence is violence” and “injustice” as protests took place across the U.S. following the shooting death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Many of her posts are more light-hearted, including taking her nearly 5,000 Instagram followers along for her whirlwind trips to New York City, San Diego and to see singer Destiny Rogers perform at KCon in 2023.
4. Social Media Flirting
Camp initially interacted with Whipkey in March 2025 when the latter posted pictures from a recent trip to Spain, alongside the question, “Paella anyone?” The Pitch Perfect star replied, “Yes, please.”
In March 2025, Camp posted a photo of Whipkey sipping wine, along with the Instagram caption, “Happiness lately happening.” The couple donned medieval costumes to attend a Renaissance Fair in May 2025 with Camp’s Pitch Perfect costar Rebel Wilson, The Rookie star Gigi Zumbado and Cruel Summer’s Olivia Holt. Camp later reposted an image of herself with Whipkey at the event and wrote, “My lord, my love.”
Whipkey subsequently penned a heartfelt tribute of her own to Camp via her Instagram Story, writing, “Her smile is a poem, her eyes are roses, her laugh is music for dancing.”
5. Whipkey Has Spoken About Previous Dating Experience
Before the pair went public as a couple, Camp and Whipkey took part in a man-on-the-street style interview with TikTok star Mr. Big USA in February 2025. Whipkey told an unfiltered story about “the only date [she] ever went on with a boy.”
“[The guy] kept calling me ‘f***er’ the whole time. Yeah, I know, it was pretty intense,” Whipkey revealed as Camp chuckled alongside her.
Whipkey went on, “He’s like, ‘What’s up, f***er?,’ like, when I got there. And I was like, ‘Oh,’ like, I got no ‘pretty’, or… And I dressed definitely more, like, girlish, so I don’t know. That was a weird one.”
Asked what she expected “from a guy on a first date,” Camp laughed and then replied, “I don’t expect anything, not anymore, because I like women and it’s great.”
