Golden Bachelor alum Gerry Turner is in love again!
On April 24, Turner revealed to TMZ that he has a brand new woman in his life, named Lana. Turner and Lana met on Facebook — yes, she totally slid into his DMs — and have been reportedly been “inseparable” since their first date in March.
Unlike his last relationship — Turner married Golden Bachelor winner Theresa Nist, though the pair divorced in 2024 after only a few months of marriage — Turner is keeping a lot of the details regarding his new love out of the public eye and away from the spotlight of reality TV.
The new relationship is great news for fans of Turner, who revealed he was diagnosed with a slow-growing bone marrow cancer in December 2024. “It was like 10 tons of concrete were just dropped on me,” he said at the time. “And I was a bit in denial for a while, I didn’t want to admit to it.”
Though his marriage with ex-wife Theresa Nist didn’t work out, Turner has a romantic partner in his life again.

They met on Facebook
Lana and Turner met after she slid into his Facebook DMs. Turner told TMZ he initially ignored the message, but after Lana sent a second DM and revealed she’d grown up about 20 minutes from his hometown, Turner decided to give it a shot and reply.
Turner wants to take his time with Lana
During an April 15 interview on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, Turner said that he’s hoping to take things slow with Lana.
“I don’t wanna say too much and jinx it,” he explained at the time. “And I’m trying to respectfully get to a point where there’s an acceptable amount of time from my divorce. Maybe that’s an old-fashioned thought, you know, maybe it doesn’t matter as much as I think it does, but to be respectful, I kind of want to slow roll this.”
She’s also a parent
Lana has already met Turner’s daughters, Angie and Jenny, and the Golden Bachelor alum told “Bachelor Happy Hour” hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, “I think the fun part there is, she has daughters that I really relate to, and her daughter, she relates well to my daughters.”
“So we’ve been around each other briefly, but it’s been fun,” he continued. “It’s been a very enjoyable encounter.”
Lana is a retired school teacher
While not too much is known about her professional life, Lana is a retired school teacher and Turner has said she’s the part-owner of a video production company.
He says they are “inseparable”
Turner told TMZ that the two have been “basically inseparable since” their first date in March 2025.
