Symptoms usually start between six hours and six days after swallowing the bacteria.

The outbreak comes shortly after a spread similar to Dubai chocolate was linked to another bacterial outbreak. On July 14, World Market and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a recall for a batch of Spread Pistachio Cacao Cream with Kadayif, a product from Turkish company Emek Gıda, due to a potential contamination of Salmonella.

PEOPLE reached out to Metabolic Meals for comment.
