Stephen Collins is reportedly dating a 7th Heaven “superfan” named Jenny Nagel, who is 40 years his junior.
In Hollywood Demons, Investigation Discovery provides an update on the 66-year-old former actor’s whereabouts since he left Hollywood after his child sex abuse scandal made headlines in 2012.
“Stephen Collins now lives with a woman who is 40 years younger than him,” media personality Dr. Drew Pinskey reveals in the special, per Us Weekly. “She was a super fan.”
“The age difference — given what we know about his history — certainly raises an eyebrow,” he continues. “Let’s hope he can commit to this woman and not perpetrate on others.”
PEOPLE has reached out to Collins for comment.
The actor does not make an appearance in the documentary special and producers revealed they reached out to “more than 100″ of Collins’ contacts but “nearly everyone declined to participate or did not respond.” In a voice-over, one producer claimed that only men agreed to share their experience with the disgraced actor.
In 2019, Daily Mail reported that Collins and Nagel got married in a small town in Iowa, where the two were living. At the time, the outlet also claimed that the two attended daily meditation sessions.
In 2012, Collins came under fire for “inappropriate sexual conduct with three female minors” between the years of 1973 and 1994, after TMZ obtained a recording of him speaking about his participation in child molestation. He later gave a lengthy statement to PEOPLE, two years after the scandal went public, detailing the abuse and apologizing for his behavior.
“Forty years ago, I did something terribly wrong that I deeply regret. I have been working to atone for it ever since,” he began. “I’ve decided to address these issues publicly because two months ago, various news organizations published a recording made by my then-wife, Faye Grant, during a confidential marriage therapy session in January 2012. This session was recorded without the therapist’s or my knowledge or consent.”
“On the recording, I described events that took place 20, 32 and 40 years ago,” Collins, who was known for his role on 7th Heaven as Reverend Eric Camden for all 11 seasons, continued. “The publication of the recording has resulted in assumptions and innuendos about what I did that go far beyond what actually occurred. As difficult as this is, I want people to know the truth.”
“I did have an opportunity to do so with one of the women, 15 years later. I apologized and she was extraordinarily gracious. But after I learned in the course of my treatment that my being direct about such matters could actually make things worse for them by opening old wounds, I have not approached the other two women, one of whom is now in her 50s and the other in her 30s.”

Hollywood Demons premieres on March 24 from 9 to 11 p.m. ET on Investigation Discovery and will be available to stream on Max.
