Josko has apologized to Vanja after she revealed he previously filmed her for a sex tape without her knowledge or permission during their roller coaster romance.
The stunning revelation was made on the Jan. 26 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days as Vanja and Josko hashed out their relationship at the Tell All.
Josko, who joined the Tell All virtually from Croatia, spent several minutes throwing shade at Vanja, from discussing his negative perception of her as a mother figure to mocking her sexual preferences. Vanja felt slighted by Josko’s misrepresentation of their relationship and decided to expose his misdeed.
“Without my consent, without my knowledge, [he] violated my privacy, my body,” Vanja tearfully told the group, who emphatically supported her.
At the time, Vanja said Josko did not think his actions were problematic. In fact, “He was proud of himself for doing it,” she said.
Josko admitted to filming the intimate interaction and initially argued that he spoke with Vanja about doing so before proceeding.
Eventually, Josko conceded that Vanja never gave him explicit permission to film the interaction in question.
“In my head, I developed a story about the consent, but it wasn’t there,” he confessed to the group.
Josko said he apologized to Vanja “multiple times” after she learned about the video. But he defended himself, claiming that he “did it to spice things up” in their sex life.
Prompted by host Shawn Robinson, Josko apologized to Vanja in front of the group.
“I’m terribly sorry,” Josko began, adding that the sex tape incident “kept me awake a lot of days. “It’s not something that I’m proud of. … It was something that I should not have done.”
He continued, “I violated your privacy, I violated your trust and I’m deeply sorry. I could not find words to describe how sorry I am because of that.”
Throughout the season, Vanja opened up about her trust issues with men and her conscious decision to be selective about who she is intimate with. But for a while, she felt she could trust Josko.
By the time the Tell All rolled around, that was no longer the case. “It’s heartbreaking because I give my all in a relationship and then the other person doesn’t want to pursue things with me anymore,” Vanja cried. “And it’s very disappointing to know that I keep giving and giving and I get this in return.”
Despite this, Josko felt the only mistake he made in his relationship with Vanja was “making the video” without her permission.
“I had really good intentions with her,” he claimed. “It didn’t work out but I’m glad we tried. She’s gorgeous, she’s amazing and I wish for her to meet someone that will respect her and love her more than me and definitely more than Božo.”
Vanja, after all, began her 90 Day Fiancé journey with a completely different man. She initially traveled to Croatia to meet Božo, who suddenly friend-zoned Vanja when she came to visit.
Earlier in the episode, Vanja revealed that she felt more frustrated by her relationship with Josko than Božo, though they were “both frustrating in their own way.”
“Being intimate with somebody for me is a big deal,” she said through tears. “And the fact that he got that for me, I don’t want to say I want to take it back, but I wish I didn’t.”
