Beyoncé knows how to make a birthday special — especially when it’s for her twins!

On Thursday, June 12, the 35-time Grammy winner got help from the crowd during her fourth Cowboy Carter tour stop in London as she called upon her fans to wish her twins a happy 8th birthday.

“Everybody say happy birthday, Rumi,” the 43-year-old said onstage as her adoring fans followed suit.

Big sister Blue Ivy Carter, 13, stood beside them, smiling as she affectionately grabbed her little sister’s chin for the sweet moment, which was shared on social media.

“Say happy birthday, Sir! Mommy loves you,” Beyoncé added as the crowd continued to cheer.

Rumi, still smiling, buried her head in her mother’s waist as the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer embraced her in a sweet moment shown on the jumbotron.

Beyoncé shares Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir with husband Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter).

The couple married in 2008 after dating since the early 2000s. They welcomed their eldest child in 2012. Their family expanded once again when they welcomed Rumi and Sir in 2017.

Beyoncé’s girls have been joining her on the Cowboy Carter tour as of late, a tradition first started by Blue Ivy’s appearances during their mother’s Renaissance World Tour.

Sir typically stays out of the spotlight, but made a special on-camera appearance when the “Crazy in Love” singer kicked off her Cowboy Carter Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28.

Beyoncé showed a rare home video of her kids, including her only son, during the nearly three-hour show consisting of more than 35 songs.

Rumi made her musical debut on the Cowboy Carter album.

“Mom, can I hear the lullaby please?” the couple’s youngest daughter says at the beginning of “Protector.”

After the twins were born, Jay-Z, 55, shared the meaning behind their names.

“Rumi is our favorite poet, so it was for our daughter,” the rapper explained in August 2017. “Sir was like, man, come out the gate. He carries himself like that. He just came out, like, Sir.”

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, has also shared insight on the couple’s kids.

“Rumi is amazing — an amazing artist, painter and creator,” Knowles, 71, told E! News while attending the Kentucky Derby in May 2024. “How could they be anything else growing up in that environment? All we talk about is creativity and fashion.”

“Sir is very quiet,” she continued, adding that he “does all of the numbers stuff, so he’s not into fashion as much.”
