King Charles III and Queen Camilla are remembering their late dads on Father’s Day amid their continued estrangement from the monarch’s youngest son, Prince Harry.
“To all Dads everywhere, we wish you a happy Father’s Day today,” the royal family shared via Instagram on Sunday, June 15, alongside throwback photos of Charles, 76, with his father, Prince Philip, and Camilla, 77, with her dad, Major Bruce Shand.
The account also shared archival video of Charles as a baby with Philip via Stories.
Charles did not share a photo of himself with his sons, Harry, 40, and Prince William, although he did spend the day with the latter at the 2025 Trooping the Colour on Saturday, June 14 — an annual event that celebrates the king’s birthday (which actually falls in November).
“Another brilliant day at Trooping the Colour for His Majesty’s Birthday Parade. Thank you to everybody who came, and to all those who took part,” the Prince of Wales, 42, and Princess Kate Middleton shared via Instagram on Saturday, along with a photo of their family, including children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.

Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, were not in attendance, marking their third consecutive exclusion from the ceremony. The couple has been estranged from the royal family after stepping down from their duties in 2020 and relocating to California with their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4. They now stay busy with the Archewell Foundation and their Netflix partnership. Meghan, 43, also hosts her own podcast, “Confessions of a Female Founder.”
Despite their ups and downs, the Duke of Sussex recently shared that he would love to make amends with Charles as he doesn’t know “how much longer” his father has. (Charles is battling an undisclosed form of cancer.)
“I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore,” Harry told BBC News in May. “Life is precious.”
Harry spoke out after losing his trial to reinstate his family’s security in the U.K., claiming that his father’s influence played a role in the case. At the time he alleged that, despite his pleas, Charles “won’t speak to me.”
“I can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point,” Harry added. “I miss parts of the U.K., of course I do. And I think that it’s really quite sad that I won’t be able to show, you know, my children.”

Royal expert Christopher Andersen exclusively told Us Weekly in May that Harry’s comments about Charles’ health likely further harmed the two’s dynamic.
“If you are someone undergoing cancer treatment, to hear those words from your son would, I think, be fairly upsetting,” Andersen said. “Not exactly a resounding vote of confidence in your chances of making a full recovery.”
