Bethenny Frankel Says Florida Move Feels ‘Different in the Right Way,’ Reveals How Bryn Is Adjusting (Exclusive)

Bethenny Frankel’s decision to move to Florida is different — but “different in the right way.”

Frankel, 54, and her daughter, Bryn, 15, recently moved from the East Coast to the Sunshine State. Frankel announced the news in April. “I am moving to Florida for personal and professional reasons,” she explained in an Instagram video. “Something has arisen that made this the best and healthiest for myself and my daughter.”

The reality star and entrepreneur explained the decision in more detail while speaking exclusively to Us Weekly about her partnership with Heluva Good! Dip. “ I went to high school in Florida and I’ve been going there my entire life, even since I was a younger, since I was a baby,” she said.

Frankel bought an apartment in Miami in 2024, and “thought I would be there a certain number of days” but ended up spending much more time in Florida. “It started to make me feel like, ‘Wait, I really feel like I live here,’ even before this whole decision happened.”

The Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel has specific reasons for relocating down south to Florida with her 14-year-old daughter, Bryn. “The morning of March 19th, this wasn’t even a thought and by that evening, a series of events transpired and we decided it was the best move to move here,” Frankel, […]

“So I was already like, wait, it feels different to live here than to visit,” she continued. “It feels different in the right way.”

Frankel added that Bryn is doing just fine with the move. “I have a sunshine baby,” she explained. “We are water people. Today, I’m in the city for the shoot and she asked me if she could go back out and just be out by the water, by herself. She just likes to be free.”

The pair is “just excited for sunshine,” she continued, “and sports and being outside and being near the beach. It’s who we really are.”

Frankel will have plenty of opportunities to entertain and host in Miami, something she enjoys and that Heluva Good! Dip will help her with. The pair have partnered to make entertaining and hosting easier — especially if you use the brand’s Host’s Hidden Heluva Good!, a faux potted plant that is also a secret dip stash.

Frankel knows all too well how stressful hosting can be. “It has to be very easy, because a stressed host is completely contagious,” she explained. “You have to think about it ahead of time before it’s really mostly in your mind … if you have a very, very simple, loose plan, it’s much better.”

Part of the problem, she added, is that many of us tend to go “cold” when it’s time to get organized. “[People] go into the supermarket, they freeze, they don’t know what to buy.”

Frankel keeps it easy by offering mini vegetables, which she said are “my new personality,” alongside the brand’s dip (the bacon horseradish is her favorite). The arrangement is extra easy because you don’t even need any tools or to chop up the veggies.
