Huda Mustafa‘s ex — and the father of her baby — is breaking his silence on her controversial stint on Love Island USA.
Noah Sheline, who shares 4-year-old daughter Arleigh with Huda, came to her defense on Monday, June 16, writing via Instagram Story, “At the end of the day I hope everyone remembers we’re human. Her going on that show to find love, or whatever you think it was she’s doing, remember she’s still human, she has a daughter, and a life.”
Noah urged Peacock viewers to be kind instead of mocking Huda.
“She’s maybe not doing a great job idk I don’t watch the show but I don’t like that I’m seeing so much negative s*** on my page or even clips of it about her,” he added about the “unhealthy” hate. “It’s not my job to police her or the people in my comments, but I will say what you guys do will affect her mental health and my daughter’s maybe in the future.”

Despite not watching Huda on Love Island USA, Noah came to her defense for the sake of their daughter, adding, “So I’m looking out for her in that aspect. Out of respect for our daughter.”
Huda is one of the original islanders who joined season 7 of Love Island USA looking for love. She found it instantly with Jeremiah Brown — and that’s when things got complicated. The on-and-off couple received backlash from fans and their fellow islanders alike for immediately refusing to explore other possible connections.
There was also the issue of Huda not telling Jeremiah she was a mom. Once she did, their relationship got worse, which is when new bombshell Iris Kendall was brought into the mix to stir up even more trouble. During the Sunday, June 15, episode of Love Island USA, Jeremiah and Iris were paired off based on America voting on who they should date next.
Huda, for her part, was far from pleased and her reaction went viral. Noah acknowledged that he was “worried” about how Huda will react when she’s out of the villa and has access to the internet again.
“It’s crazy I have to involve myself in this but I don’t want my daughter’s mom to get out and see this and her mental health goes down a hill,” his Monday post continued. “For people who have been respectful and nice and defending her as a mother, thank you! She tries just as much as any other young parent in this world.”
Noah clarified that he doesn’t “want to get back with her,” adding, “Not sure what else to say or if I’m talking to a wall of social media. I just ask people be nice. It’s a tv show. Y’all are watching people date I don’t think it’s that serious to put someone down a hole of bullying. Regardless of how ridiculous she might be or seem.”
New episodes of Love Island USA will be released six days a week — except for Wednesdays — on Peacock.
