Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster are celebrating their love!
On Thursday, June 19, the husband, 80, and wife, 54, revealed they were marking their 18th wedding anniversary by going on a trip from Paris to Italy by train.
In a joint post on Instagram, Lancaster and the singer-songwriter posed outside the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express as they embarked on their journey.
“Entering a bygone era @vsoetrain from Paris where we got engaged to Portofino where we got married 18 years ago, it’s totally magical @sirrodstewart xxxx,” the model wrote in her caption.
In the photo, Lancaster wrapped an arm around her husband’s shoulders as they smiled.
Stewart stood out in a hot pink jacket over a white outfit, which also featured a hint of his signature leopard print, while his wife wore a pink shirt with a peach design and a matching skirt.

Lancaster also shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of herself inside the train cart holding up a sign that read, “Paris to Portofino.”
“A dream come true for our wedding anniversary @sirrodstewert @vsoetrain,” she added in the caption.
The couple tied the knot in Portofino back in 2007.
A rep for the couple told PEOPLE at the time that the ceremony took place at a medieval abbey at La Cervara with 100 family and friends. They then had a reception by the coast of Santa Margherita with dinner, dancing and fireworks.
Stewart and Lancaster celebrating their anniversary comes after he shut down claims that there was a rift in their marriage last August.
“We wanted to put the record straight,” Stewart wrote on Instagram on Aug. 29, 2024.

“There is absolutely no rift between Penny and I and no disagreement over where we should reside, in fact it’s the opposite,” he said.
He then addressed claims that they were fighting over moving from Los Angeles to the U.K.

“We moved permanently back to our beloved Britain a year ago but are fortunate to also have homes in different countries, which we love to visit,” he wrote. “Originally we did think it made sense to sell our house in LA, but having spent a wonderful time there this summer with family and friends during my Vegas residency we realised that it makes sense to keep our house there.”
He added that two of his eight children still live in the pair’s L.A. home.
“Penny and I could not be more in love with each other after 27 glorious years. Please trust me on this….. there’s no disharmony in our marriage,” he concluded before signing off the statement as “Rod ‘a very lucky man’ Stewart.”
The couple first met in 1999 after he separated from his ex-wife Rachel Hunter.
Speaking about how they met, Stewart told PEOPLE in 2021, “Rachel broke up with me on a Monday evening, and it was heartbreaking. No one leaves Rod! But that Saturday night, I met Penny at the Dorchester Hotel in London.”
“The bass player in my band, Carmine, said, ‘Listen, you’ve just come out of a long nine-year marriage. You’re not ready yet.’ I nearly strangled him!” he continued with a laugh. “Six months later, he gave me her phone number and she came over.”
“She has mended my heart in more ways than one,” he added.
While Stewart shares sons Alastair, 19, and Aiden, 14, with Lancaster, he’s also father to Sarah, 61, Kimberly, 45, Sean, 44, Ruby, 38, Renee, 33, and Liam, 30, from previous relationships.
