Paige DeSorbo finally revealed what she really wanted to wear while making a guest appearance on Love Island USA.
On Thursday, June 19, DeSorbo, 32, took to TikTok to share what she had originally planned to wear while guest-starring on season 7 of Love Island before she was asked to host a lumberjack-themed event and changed into a suede LaQuan Smith design.
First, the Daphne founder showed off a sheer sequin bronze dress featuring cutout sides, a hip-high slit and an open back. “I had it hemmed [for the slit to be] up more,” she explained while showing off the sexy look. “I just feel like it’s so Love Island,” she gushed.
Next, DeSorbo slipped into a green frock equipped with an artistic neckline, a sheer bodice and a high-low skirt. “It had green straps but I changed it to clear because I felt like this looked like it was floating,” the Summer House alum said while pointing at her neckline. “So Love Island,” she said again.
DeSorbo also showed off a yellow-and-teal sequin mini dress with sheer cutouts and a V-neck. “I loved this one, which I could bring to Italy with me, but it’s kind of intense for a family vacation,” she said of the nipple-baring look. She also joked that the dress was giving a bit of an “ice skater” vibe. “Whatever, I’m obsessed,” she said.
The “Giggly Squad” podcast host also admitted that she could still wear any of the dresses on Love Island: Aftersun, where she’ll recap drama on the show with host Ariana Madix, but she already has “another dress picked out for that.”
DeSorbo’s slinky looks come after she explained why she mysteriously left the show’s challenge during a Tuesday, June 17, episode of “Giggly Squad.”

“It’s insane. It’s a long filming day and we started pretty early,” Paige recalled “Mind you, I’ve just landed and it’s not even a full 24 hours that I’m there. So in no situation was I acclimated. But I’m fine. I’m not gonna be a diva. I’m doing the job,” she said, sharing she was not anticipating how the heat of Fiji would affect her — especially while wearing “a full suede skirt.”
She continued, “About an hour and a half or two hours into filming, I’m feeling a bit queasy. I throw up. We take a proper break. And I’m like, ‘Guys, I’m just feeling like not myself.’”
DeSorbo tried to keep filming, but soon after she fainted due to the heat.
“I literally sit down and pass out. They’re like, ‘OK, we’re gonna take your blood pressure. We’re gonna stop for a minute,’” she elaborated. “They bring me back into the room and I’m like, ‘Guys, I’m so sorry but I just don’t think I can finish it.’ We had two people left. It took everything in me to also say that. I have to advocate for myself.”
DeSorbo concluded the episode by thanking the crew for being so understanding.
