Robert Irwin had the perfect in-flight entertainment during a recent trip.
The 21-year-old shared a clip on Instagram on Sunday, June 22, showing himself sitting on a plane and scrolling through the movie options on his seatback screen. He hit the Popular Movies section and immediately saw something that made him smile: his late father Steve Irwin’s adventure-comedy film, The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course. The 2002 movie also features Robert’s mom, Terri Irwin.
After Robert showed Steve on the screen, he panned the camera back to himself and gave a happy thumbs-up.
“When the in-flight movie selection is elite 👌,” he wrote in the caption of the post, which was fittingly soundtracked with “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. The song features the memorable lyric, “Home is wherever I’m with you.”
Robert’s sister Bindi Irwin commented on the post: “The best 🙌.”
His followers also appreciated the sentimental moment. “Just a boy. On a flight with his dad,” one person wrote, while another said, “Blessed to still be able to see his dad doing his thing.”
Steve — who died in 2006 at age 44 after being pierced in the chest by a stingray — and Terri, 60, starred as themselves in the movie. Released between the fourth and fifth seasons of Steve’s popular Crocodile Hunter nature docuseries, the film follows the couple as they attempt to save a crocodile from a pair of poachers, not knowing that the two men are actually CIA agents on their trail.
Back in February, Robert shared one of his earliest memories of his wildlife conservationist father while appearing on an episode of the Australian talk show The Project.

“Every morning, it didn’t matter rain, hail or shine, he’d load up Bindi and I on the front of his motorbike and we’d go rip around the Zoo and get ice cream,” he recalled.
“So I just remember being on the front of the motorbike, covered in ice cream, just loving life,” he continued.
Robert also reflected on his father’s legacy during his appearance on the show, one day after what would have been Steve’s 63rd birthday on Feb. 22.
“It was his birthday yesterday, what would have been his birthday, and it’s always amazing to me to see the global reaction and impact that dad has till this day,” he said. “It’s very, very special.”
After Robert made waves with his smoldering campaign for the Australian underwear brand Bonds, the 21-year-old revealed what he thought his late dad would make of the provocative shots.
“I thought a lot about what dad would say about this, actually,” Robert told PEOPLE in April, joking, “There’d be a few crikey’s thrown around!”
As for stripping down for the campaign, Robert said, “This was something a little different to be just in my Bonds,” before explaining why he agreed to do the shoot.
“I’m at this point in my life where I’m trying to do as many different and random exciting things as possible,” he explained.
Robert also shared his hope that the campaign would help highlight his family’s animal conservation work — and his certainty that his dad would be proud of him.

“My dad is and always will be my hero. He’s my absolute hero,” he told PEOPLE. “My inspiration through everything I do. He’s really the guiding light in my life. And when I’m at home and working on wildlife conservation projects, I feel close to him and to his legacy.”
He added: “There’ll never be another Steve Irwin. He is and always will be an entity on its own, and no one will ever match that. But if I can carry forward a little bit of that positivity, that passion, that enthusiasm to a new generation, then my job’s done.”
