A woman, who reportedly starred on the reality show Beauty and the Geek, is accused of killing her partner in South Australia.

The 34-year-old — who can’t be named due to a suppression order — was arrested after police found the man’s body at a property in Port Lincoln on Thursday, June 19, reported 7News, Sky News and news.com.au,

She reportedly starred on Beauty and the Geek, which features socially awkward men being paired with beautiful women as they compete to win a prize, reported 7News.

“About 3.25 p.m. on Thursday 19 June, police and emergency services were called to a Flinders Highway home after reports of a small fire,” South Australia Police said in a statement.

“When police entered the property, they located a man deceased inside the premises.”

“A 34-year-old Port Lincoln woman has been arrested at the scene and has been charged with the man’s murder. She has been refused police bail and may appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.”

“Detectives from Major Crime Investigation Branch and Forensic Response Section officers flew to the scene last night and are assisting local police with the investigation,” the police statement added.

The victim’s cause of death is currently unknown, Ian Parrott, Assistant Commissioner at South Australia Police, said in a news conference.

“There are a range of things at the scene that need to be worked through,” Parrott continued. “It is a very complex scene.”

He added that the investigation was still in it’s “very early stages” and that there “are a number of things we still don’t know.”

“It was not a random incident,” Parrott stated, before confirming that both people lived at the address. “It will take some time to understand the exact nature of what’s occurred today,” he continued.

Speaking to 7News, neighbors described the incident as shocking due to the woman seeming “really nice, very pleasant, polite.”

The former TV star, who remains in custody, was taken to the hospital after her arrest before being charged with murder.

She appeared in court via phone link on Friday, June 20 and is set to appear in court at a later date.

PEOPLE has contacted South Australia Police for further information.
