Jessie J Shares Health Update amid Breast Cancer Diagnosis: ‘Some of the Honest Lows and Highs of the Last 48 Hours’

Jessie J has provided an update on her breast cancer treatment journey.

The “Domino” singer, 37, shared an Instagram post on Monday, June 23 that offered a glimpse into her recent surgery to remove the cancer. “‌Blood warning‌This post is some of the honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours. I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through,” she wrote.

“Grateful to my doctor / surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me and all my family / friends who came to visit. đŸ«‚,” the post continued. “I am home now, to rest and wait for my results đŸ€žđŸ»
Chanan is in a nurse outfit. No no, he isn’t, but funny to imagine.”

She concluded, “Still hugging everyone going through something tough right now. We all got this! đŸ«‚đŸ«€đŸ”‹.”

The post included images of Jessie in the hospital with markings that doctors made of where her surgical incisions would be, as well as videos of herself resting after the procedure. The post also featured images of herself with her boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman, who was at the hospital to support her, along with their 2-year-old son Sky.

The post comes a week after the singer addressed a sold-out crowd at Wembley Stadium in Wembley, U.K. on June 16, at her final show before her surgery and breast cancer treatment plan began. She told the crowd it was her “last show before I go to beat breast cancer!”

“So it’s so special to me, you have no idea,” she said, per the Daily Mail. She later told fans she is “so grateful for this life,” as well as her career, her son and her parents.

Jessie shared her cancer diagnosis with fans on June 3 in an Instagram post.

“I want to share it with my fans and the people that care about me, and also I’m a sharer,” the English pop star said in the video. “I’ve always shared everything that I go through in my life. Before ‘No Secrets’ came out, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer.”

“I’m highlighting the word early. Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word early,” she continued. “I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period.”
