Love Island USA is reminding fans to be kind to the islanders.
During the Tuesday, June 24 episode of Love Island USA a new warning message aired.
The show aired a statement regarding the ongoing harsh criticism of the show’s contestants, reading, “THE KEYWORD IN LOVE ISLAND IS… LOVE. WE LOVE OUR FANS. WE LOVE OUR ISLANDERS, WE DON’T LOVE CYBERBULLYING, HARASSMENT OR HATE.”
Another official message shared on X on Tuesday, June 24 read, “We appreciate the fans, the passion for the series, and the amazing group of Islanders who are sharing their summer with us. Please just remember they’re real people — so let’s be kind and spread the love!”
The official statement comes after host Ariana Madix spoke out during the June 21 Aftersun episode.
“Love Island has the best fans across the entire globe,” Madix, 40, said. “Passionate — and I love that. There’s such a great, amazing communal experience when it comes to watching the show, but I do want to say something to some of those people who are online. Don’t be contacting people’s families. Don’t be doxing people. Don’t be going on islanders’ pages and saying rude things.”
She went on to note, “You still have time to delete all of that, because the islanders don’t have their phones. So we’re giving you a chance. Because this is a fun, amazing, beautiful show, and we should be thanking each one of these islanders every single day for giving us themselves. Be nice. Please be nice, or I’ll come find you.”
The Vanderpump Rules alum then poked fun at her personal drama that aired on the Bravo show, calling it “hard” to do.
“I’ve made plenty of horrible mistakes on TV,” she laughed.
The remarks from Madix and the show’s official statements come a week after islander Huda Mustafa’s ex-boyfriend Noah Sheline came forward to defend her amid mass online backlash. The former couple share daughter Arleigh, 4.
Sheline posted a message on his TikTok story defending Mustafa, 24, on June 16. “At the end of the day I hope everyone remembers we’re human,” he wrote. “Her going on that show to find love, or whatever you think it was she’s doing, remember she’s still human, she has a daughter, and a life.”
“She’s maybe not doing a great job idk I don’t watch the show but I don’t like that I’m seeing so much negative s— on my page or even clips of it about her,” he added, calling the hate “unhealthy.”

He then encouraged fans to be mindful of Mustafa’s mental health, and the safety of their daughter. “It’s not my job to police her or the people in my comments, but I will say what you guys do will affect her mental health and my daughter’s maybe in the future,” he said. “So I’m looking out for her in that aspect. Out of respect for our daughter.”
