Kelly Osbourne is opening up about the reality of traveling with toddlers.
While speaking with PEOPLE at Serpentine Summer Party 2025 on Tuesday, June 24, the British-American actress and singer, 40, reveals what it’s like traveling with her 2-year-old son Sidney. The doting mom described it as a “scary situation” because there are a lot of unknown variables when traveling with little ones.
“It’s a scary situation for any mother to travel with their baby because you never know how they’re gonna behave or react, or you never want to be that one person on the airplane with a crying baby,” she says. “But, my luck has been so good. Like every plane we go on, he sleeps, and then everyone’s like, ‘I can’t believe that your kid was so good.’ ”

The television personality welcomed her only child with her rockstar boyfriend, Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson, in November 2022. When asked how she has been loving motherhood, the proud mom tells PEOPLE, it’s “the best thing ever.”
“I don’t remember my life before it,” she says. “He’s everything to me.”
During a September 2023 interview, the daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne opened up about life as a new parent.
“I’m a mom now, I love it,” she told E! News. “It’s the best thing that has ever happened to me.” While Kelly initially tried to keep details of her son’s life private, her mom revealed the name of her grandson during a January 2023 episode of the United Kingdom’s The Talk.
“Sidney,” the grandmother said on the show, adding that Kelly and her baby were “doing so great, so great.”

Since she welcomed her son into the world, the proud grandparents never missed an opportunity to bond with the little one. Kelly spoke with PEOPLE at the 32nd Annual Race to Erase MS Gala on Friday, May 16, in Century City, Calif., and shared that her son is “best friends” with her dad.
“Oh my God, they’re best friends,” Kelly said of her son and her dad. “So, favorite time of the day is nighttime because [Sidney] leaves me and gets in bed with my mom and dad because I’m staying in their house right now while my house is getting ready.”
“And he goes and gets in bed with them and they have cartoon time together and it is the sweetest thing ever,” she added. “I have to literally rip him out.”
