A thrift store shopper bought a vintage leather jacket for a very low price — only to find $400 hidden in a pocket upon getting it home.
The lucky shopper posted about the find in the Reddit forum “ThriftStoreHauls,” where thrifters can share their best and most impressive hauls.
“Found this vintage Korean leather bomber jacket,” the Redditor said in his post. “Removable real fur lining (rabbit on inside, New Zealand opossum on hood). Bought for $4.”
The original poster (OP) went on to share that he found $400 in a “secret pocket behind the fur lining,” adding, “This jacket bought itself!”
In a follow-up comment, the OP shared that he had found the jacket “in the electronics section of the store” — meaning “someone definitely thought of buying it, but then changed their mind and set it down.”
Fellow Reddit users were quick to share their excitement over the find.
