Kristin Cavallari isn’t a fan that her three kids have cellphones.
The Laguna Beach alum, 38, addressed a controversial topic on a recent episode of her podcast Let’s Be Honest as she spoke about how her three kids are “zombies” in the morning while they’re scrolling on their phones.
“I honestly don’t agree with my younger two getting phones,” Cavallari said during the podcast. “I really wanted until my kids were 12 to get a phone, which is what I did with Camden.”

Although she went on to say that she’s also the parent and can “take their phones away,” Cavallari noted that she “didn’t buy Jaxon or Saylor their phones, so it’s slightly more complicated than that situation.”
Despite not directly naming her ex, Cavallari said that she “can control what I can control” and that “having parental controls on their phones is great.”
Earlier this summer, Cavallari shared that her custody arrangement with Cutler had changed. During a June episode of her podcast, the mom of three revealed that she’s never taken any money from her ex and admitted that she works hard to support her three children. She also gave more insight into her custody agreement.
“I did have my kids full-time for a while, and now I have them except for every other weekend,” Cavallari said. “I’m not gonna get into the reasoning or the legality of it.”
Previously, during an October episode of her podcast, Cavallari made a rare comment about her custody agreement with her former husband as she addressed her split from ex-boyfriend Mark Estes.
“I have no interest in getting back into the dating world right now. I also don’t know how much time I have for dating,” Cavallari said. “When I was dating last fall, I was still doing split custody with my ex and I had every other week off from my kids, and that’s changed.”
“So I’m really happy and really content having my life right now being about my kids and my work,” Cavallari continued. “Happiness for me is peace, and peace for me is making this home exactly how I want it.”
“I’m a homebody. I really am. Being home and cooking and having friends over, those things make me happy. Beyond that, I don’t really have a lot of time for anything else.”
