Chrissy Teigen is in the mood to reminisce!
The model and cookbook author, 39, shared two Instagram Stories videos on Wednesday, Oct. 1, featuring her daughter Esti and son Wren, both now two, as newborns.
The first clip featured little Esti in a red sleepsuit and bib as her off-camera mom could be heard saying, “Hi baby Esti, hi.” The tot then sweetly sneezed, which caused her to topple off her mom’s lap as Teigen reassured her, “It’s all right.”
The second story was taken in the hospital just after Wren’s birth and features him being burped by a nurse as Teigen can be heard saying, “Nice job!” She then adds to her singer-songwriter husband, John Legend, 46, “Oh my gosh, John, he looks just like our babies.”
Her comment references the fact that little Wren was born via surrogate. And back in June 2023, Teigen opened up about being pregnant with Esti when she discovered her surrogate, Alexandra, was also pregnant.
Teigen explained that the couple learned that Alexandra was pregnant with Wren “as we crept toward the safe zone of my own pregnancy” with daughter Esti.
“We ate hot pot to celebrate, watched Vanderpump Rules with our growing bellies, our families blending into one for the past year,” she recalled of sharing the experience of pregnancy with Alexandra.
“Just minutes before midnight on June 19th, I got to witness the most beautiful woman, my friend, our surrogate, give birth amidst a bit of chaos, but with strength and pure joy and love,” she added in a social media post about the birth. She went on to thank Alexandra for the “incredible gift” of Wren.

The arrivals of Esti and Wren, the couple’s youngest children, came after they lost their son Jack at 20 weeks pregnant in September 2021.
Back in May, Teigen shared an update on then 22-month-old Wren’s progress and revealed why he was wearing a “little boot” on his leg.
“Wren is a-ok,” she clarified in the caption of the Instagram carousel. “Just a little boot because he is having trouble putting all his weight on this leg! Not a terrible break, thank the lord! They heal so fast right now 🤍🥰,” she added.
Teigen and Legend also celebrated their firstborn daughter Luna’s birthday on April 14 with sweet Instagram posts.
“Our firstborn baby is old enough to bake and decorate her own cake now 😭 Happy 9th birthday to our sweet Luna!” the “Always Come Back” singer captioned a photo of the 9-year-old birthday girl proudly posing in front of her chocolate cake.
Meanwhile, the Cravings author called Luna “the best thing I’ve ever made,” emotionally adding, “I can’t say anymore, I’ll cry ok bye!!”
