Kim Kardashian seemingly took inspiration from her mom, Kris Jenner, for her pixie cut hairstyle during Paris Fashion Week.
The reality star and entrepreneur, 44, showed off her dramatic hair transformation while attending the Maison Margiela Women’s Wear Spring/Summer 2026 runway show — and the pixie cut bears a striking resemblance to her mother’s signature ‘do.
For the fashion event on Saturday, Oct. 4, Kim wore an oversized gray trench coat and black scarf tied around her neck while sitting front row. Meanwhile, sister Kylie Jenner sat beside her in a sheer white minidress and matching tights.
Kim debuted the new hair earlier that day while attending the Maison Alaïa show in a sheer black strapless dress. She also made sure to show off her new locks on Instagram alongside the caption, “PARIS PIXIE.”
In the comments, many fans pointed out just how much Kim looked like her mother.
“OMG Kris Jenner?!” one user commented, while another added in a following post, “Kris Jenner what are you doing here?”
This isn’t the first time Kim had fans confusing her for her mother. On Sept. 24, the momager joined Kim and Khloé Kardashian in celebrating the launch of NikeSKIMS in New York City. And during their trip, the trio looked like sisters in their all-black monochromatic looks.
To make the resemblance even more uncanny, Kris, 69, recently sparked conversation on social media after debuting her new youthful appearance at Lauren Sánchez’s bachelorette party in May.
“I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh,” the mogul told Vogue Arabia in an interview published Aug. 26. “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy.”
“Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself,” Kris continued. “If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don’t want to do anything – then don’t do anything. But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version.”
As for how the SKIMS founder felt about her mom’s transformation? After her longtime family friend and celebrity hairstylist, Chris Appleton, shared a photo of himself wearing a white T-shirt that read, “I’ll have what Kris Jenner is having,” to his Instagram Stories in June, Kim replied, “@chrisappleton1 me to babe!!!”
Beyond their strong genes, Kim has also shared insight into their sweet mother-daughter bond. She recently told Jimmy Fallon that Kris set her up on a blind date before they started filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians — but she told her it was a job interview.
“I pull up and I go and I’m talking about what I want to do and I had a résumé on me,” she recalled on the Sept. 24 epsidoe of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I don’t think she thought I’d be so prepared to bring a résumé.”
“I was like, ‘I’m going to kill you,’ “ Kim said jokingly.
