The romance between the X-Men alum and Foster, who starred together in Broadway’s 2022 revival of The Music Man, was confirmed when they were photographed holding hands during an outing in Los Angeles in January. The actors’ red carpet debut as a couple came on Oct. 26 when Foster supported Jackman at the AFI Fest premiere of Song Sung Blue in Los Angeles.

Jackman and his ex-wife Deborra-lee Furness, who share two adult children, announced in September 2023 that they were breaking up after 27 years of marriage, finalizing their divorce in June. Foster filed for divorce in October 2024 from husband Ted Griffin, with whom she shares a seven-year-old daughter, after 10 years of marriage.

A source close to the Younger actress told PEOPLE in October that she and Jackman are “in love and were genuinely excited to walk the carpet together” at AFI Fest.

“The drama is behind them now, and they’ve built a strong foundation of trust,” they added. “Both are feeling giddy and happy and are excited to share their future together.”

The Gotham announced the nominations and tributes for their annual ceremony back in October, including such contenders from this awards season as Jennifer Lawrence, Adam Sandler, Jacob Elordi, Ethan Hawke, Teyana Taylor and both Stellan and Alexander Skarsgård.

Joining Jackman and Hudson, 46, in The Gotham’s 2025 tributes are Luca Guadagnino and Julia Roberts for After the Hunt; Guillermo del Toro, Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi for Frankenstein; Tessa Thompson for Hedda; Noah Baumbach for Jay Kelly; Jeremy Allen White and Scott Cooper for Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere; and the ensemble of Sinners
