Channing Tatum has undergone surgery.
On Tuesday, Feb. 3, the actor shared a photo on Instagram from his hospital bed as he prepared to go under the knife for a “separated shoulder.”
In the black-and-white snap, the Magic Mike star could be seen lying on the bed while wearing a hospital cap and gown.
“Just another day. Another challenge. This one is gonna be hard. But whatever. Let’s get it,” he wrote.
Tatum received love from his girlfriend, Inka Williams, in the comments section, with the Australian model writing, “Big bad wolf 🤍 we got disss.”
The dad of one went on to explain the reason for his hospital stay on his Instagram Stories.
In the first post, Tatum shared an X-Ray of his upper arm and shoulder area where it could clearly be seen that two bones were broken.
“Separated shoulder,” he wrote, followed by a second, post-surgery photo of the same area.
“Screwed shoulder. Yay,” he captioned the follow-up X-Ray of a large screw now in place and holding his bones together.
Tatum did not reveal how his injury occurred, though the actor is known for doing many of his own stunts in his movies.
Back in September, the Roofman star told Variety he had injured himself while shooting Avengers: Doomsday, which is set for a December 2026 release.
The outlet reported that Tatum showed up to the interview with a limp and his double had to take on a lot of his heavier scenes in the film, with him due to undergo intensive physical therapy for the leg injury.

“We had tons more shooting,” Tatum told Variety, including a “big fight” scene with his costar Robert Downey Jr, who plays Doctor Doom.
“It’s not about the pain I feel in the moment,” Tatum continued of his injury. “It’s knowing I can’t take this back. And now I know what the next six months of my life will be like … I just hate getting old. In my mind, I’m literally still 30 years old — 26, if I’m honest.”
