As Julie Haywood was getting her daughter ready for her daycare's picture day, she didn’t think the photos would be anything out of the ordinary. When she got them, however, she couldn't help but laugh.
Haywood, 30, tells PEOPLE that she dressed her 7-month-old in a green, knit two-piece and added a beige bow to the little one's head. Whoever took the photos, however, adjusted her daughter’s bow lower on her head. They also positioned her in a few "hilarious" poses, placing the infant in a bowl in one photo and sitting on a tiny sofa in another.
“My daughter goes to daycare and they had picture day," Haywood explains. "We got multiple prints back that were all amazing. The photos my daughter had taken were hilarious — her poses were so funny and the way her bow was positioned was so silly."

While the mother from Kansas City, MO., “had no idea what to expect” from the photo shoot, she was pleasantly surprised by the cute yet unexpected outcome, telling PEOPLE she thinks “they’re adorable.”
Haywood, who had taken a picture of her daughter before daycare that day, later shared a comparison between the photos on TikTok, captioned, "How I dressed my baby for school picture day vs how they posed her 😭."
The video went viral, amassing over 2.1 million views.
“I think the comparison photo was so funny, showing how I dressed her in the morning compared to her daycare photo," Haywood shares. "The funny thing is that she was the first one to get her pictures taken, so realistically, not that much time had been in between the two photos."
She was “not surprised” by the reaction to her video, and says the attention was “well deserved, because my baby is adorable!”

Ultimately, she thinks the difference between the two photos is funny, and she is “honestly so happy with how they turned out.”
“I am very grateful they have picture day in the first place to capture these sweet memories,” Haywood shares.
