Love is in the air at the 2026 BAFTA Awards!
Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams turned one of the most prestigious ceremonies in entertainment into a date night when they stepped out together at the Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday, Feb. 22.
The outing marked Mescal and Abrams' red carpet debut as a couple.

Abrams, 26, wore a black gown with floral designs. She wore her hair in a slicked-back style, with part of it tucked behind her ear.
Mescal, 29, who's nominated for her role as William Shakespeare in Hamnet, wore a black jacket and pants with a white dress shirt underneath that he left unbuttoned at the top.

The couple, who've been romantically linked since they were first spotted out together in June 2024, stepped out at the BAFTAs shortly about one month after their date night once the 2026 Golden Globe Awards wrapped.
The pair were photographed heading to Chateau Marmont in L.A. after the award show, where his movie Hamnet won Best Motion Picture (Drama) and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for Mescal's costar Jessie Buckley.

The couple were seen holding hands as they stepped out of a vehicle for the afterparty.
Mescal is generally private when it comes to his personal life. He explained that he did not "know how to answer" a question regarding what made him and Abrams go public with their relationship during a September profile published by Rolling Stone.
"I actually do have an answer, but everything to do with that is deeply precious to me and I don’t want to. … This isn’t … I don’t really … umm … I want to protect those things fundamentally," he said at the time.
