On Saturday, February 21, the actress was spotted in Beverly Hills wearing the coziest, yet somehow most spring-ready shoes we ever did see — a $200 pair of Birkenstock Boston clogs. They had a shaggy-looking exterior that, no doubt, would be so warm not only for the last few weeks of winter, but also for chilly spring mornings.
Birkenstock clogs, as seen on Kendall Jenner and Zoë Kravitz, have been a classic for years. But clogs, in general, are trendier than ever thanks to other celebs who are fancying the shoe style, including Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Demi Moore. We’re not surprised that Bullock was wearing Birkenstocks. We’re more surprised that she opted for the clogs over the fuzzy sandals we’ve seen her in previously. But we guess it makes sense: It’s not yet warm enough for exposed toes. Thankfully, these shoes, which are lined with shearling on both the inside and outside, offer plenty of protection.
They’re also lighter than a pair of bulky boots and will provide good cushioning, thanks to the cork footbed that molds to your feet over time. “This is my best purchase in a while,” said one shopper. “They are soft, warm, supportive, and so cute.”
LifeStride Vibe-Cozy Mule/Clog Shoes

These now-$60 LifeStride clogs are extremely similar, but they have a much thicker sole. They’re made with Bzees Air Step Technology, so they’re supposed to have a “nearly weightless feel,” according to the website, while giving you an extra two inches of height. The best part is, they’re machine-washable, so you can stomp through sludge or mud without ruining them.
Cushionaire Hana Vegan Suede Clogs

If shearling is too warm for your liking, something with vegan suede, like this Amazon pair that has 5,000+ five-star ratings, might be more your speed. The exterior “looks polished and versatile,” said one reviewer who wears them for 12-hour shifts, and does not look “cheap or plastic-like.”
They also remind me of the slip-on shoes my Floridian friend wore to the beach last winter, so I’d assume they’d be solid for upcoming pool days, too.
