NEED TO KNOW
- Joe Jonas is back at Coachella and this time he’s hosting a party with Aperol
- The Jonas Brothers musician is kicking off the first weekend of the music festival in Indio, Calif where fellow former Disney Channel kid Sabrina Carpenter is headlining
- After visiting the festival several times before, Jonas has a few tips up his sleeve
Joe Jonas is back at Coachella this year and sharing some of his best tips as a veteran to the star-studded festival.
The Jonas Brothers musician, 36, caught up with PEOPLE on his way to the desert where he hosted a party at the Aperol Day Club on Friday, April 10 — a perk he was not taking for granted.
“I'll be filling my rental up with Aperol spritz,” he tells PEOPLE.
In addition to the refreshing beverage, Jonas says after several trips to the festival in his 20s he knows to stock up on sunscreen, external battery packs and in a surprising twist, he also brought his Xbox.
At Friday’s party, guests were able to get their nails done with Aperol-inspired designs, try a new Aperol frozen treat and even get their own tooth gems.
Ahead of the soirée, Jonas shared that he was thinking about getting his nails done to match his already sparkly purple painted toenails and entertained the possibility of his own tooth gem.

“I've always been hesitant to do it, but I've been going to the dentist quite a bit recently. I feel like my teeth are finally clean enough that if somebody's going to be looking closely and I have a tooth gem, then I wouldn't feel so bad about it being on my tooth. So we'll see. We'll see if they can convince me or if I can convince myself.”
As far as how he intends to spend his time on the grounds, Jonas says there are several acts he looks forward to seeing.
“The lineup's wild. Fantastic. I think it's going to be really great,” he says. “Friday, especially it seems like some amazing artists, everybody from Turnstile, who I love, the xx, Teddy Swims. Just people that I have definitely overplayed their music on my Spotify, so I'm excited to see them on the stage."

Also headlining Friday is fellow former Disney Channel kid Sabrina Carpenter.
"I do feel quite proud of anyone that kind of comes from the Disney-verse," he says. "It's amazing to see. I'm so happy for her. I think she's crushing it."
With so many artists to see over the three days — and across two weekends — trying to fit them all in might seem overwhelming but for Jonas the key is “trying to do as least movement as possible.”
"I feel like it can get a little chaotic when you're trying to make movements with a group of people. So I think I learned that my advice for those that are going, if it's their first time, if you're comfortable, that's the best place to be," he says. "Don't chase the party. Just, hey, if you're happy in your little area, that's great. Doesn't matter."
Coachella, organized by Goldenvoice, is held in Indio, Calif. on April 10-12 and April 17-19, 2026.
