Selena Gomez shared a heartfelt message for her longtime friend and fellow Disney Channel alum Demi Lovato after attending her concert.
Gomez, 33, shared a series of Instagram Stories from the opening of Lovato's It's Not That Deep Tour at the Kia Center in Orlando, Fla., on Monday, April 13.
"I am in tears," Gomez wrote alongside a black-and-white image of Lovato, 33, having lipstick applied onstage. "@ddlovato – this was hands down one of the best shows. Oh and the VOCALS? Psh *blown away."
The following slides featured a photo of the pair hugging backstage, captioned with a red heart, a photo of Lovato's name projected in the arena and a video of Gomez dancing in the crowd.
Gomez was not the only former Disney star at the opening night of Lovato's tour. Lovato's Camp Rock costar Joe Jonas also made a guest appearance and performed on stage with her.

The "Cool for the Summer" singer previously spoke about being excited to return to touring. During an event to support her cookbook, One Plate at a Time: Recipes for Finding Freedom with Food, she reflected on the significance of her 2025 album, It's Not That Deep.
“It's really amazing to be in this era right now,” Lovato told influencer Eli Rallo at 92NY in New York City on March 17.
“It's very celebratory, very fun,” Lovato continued. “I mean, that was really what the essence of the album was, was a reflection of where I'm at in my life today, which is I'm happier than ever, and I wanted my music to reflect that.”
