Adam Sandler’s elder daughter, Sadie, stars in Netflix's 'Roommates'

Adam Sandler's elder daughter Sadie Sandler didn't fall far from the tree.
The comedian and his wife, Jackie Sandler, became first-time parents on May 6, 2006, when Sadie Madison Sandler was born in Los Angeles.
She became a big sister on Nov. 2, 2008, when Sunny was born. Now, the family of four has solidified their place as comedy film stars.
“My daughters, Sadie and Sunny, you guys are my world,” Adam said while accepting an award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in February 2026. “I love you two like you'll never know.”
Both Sandler daughters have appeared in their father's comedies over the years, including 2020's Hubie Halloween, 2023's You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah and 2025's Happy Gilmore 2.
Now, Sadie is starring in her own Netflix comedy, Roommates, where she plays a “hopeful, naive” incoming college freshman.

Sadie was born in 2006

Adam and Jackie welcomed Sadie on May 6, 2006.
Shortly after she was born, Adam joked to reporters about her short attention span.
"Every time I think the kid likes me [while I'm playing with and talking to her], I'm like, 'Oh, she's staring at my forehead,' " he said.
Adam told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show in 2007 that he couldn't believe how much Sadie adored him and followed him around.
“She's so sweet and cute and I love her,” Adam said. “She's cool. We're very tight with this child — everything is we do is about the kid and the kid now all of a sudden worships me … It's like anything I do, the kid wants to do.”
“The kid used to hate broccoli, so I would eat broccoli in front of the kid, and now the kid eats broccoli,” he added. "And we were going on a little bike thing, and we put her on the back of the bike, and she didn't want to wear a helmet, and I put a helmet on, and now the kid's like, ‘I want a helmet,' and puts it on.”

Sadie was less than 2 years old when she starred alongside Adam in the 2008 movie Bedtime Stories, where she played a medieval child in one of the stories. Around the same time, she had an uncredited minor role in You Don't Mess with the Zohan.
"She's so cute, she grew up on a movie set visiting me every day, or as much as she could," Adam told Indie London in 2008. "She's just happy, it's like a camp for her because everyone's so nice to her and treat her nice.”
In 2010, when she was 4 years old, she had a minor role in the comedy Grown Ups.
Maroon 5 performed at her bat mitzvah in 2019

About a week before Sadie's bat mitzvah, her dad decided to text Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine to see if he could perform.
“I was like, I … I didn't even know why I did this, but I said, ‘I'd love to do something special for my daughter, I love her so much and blah, blah, blah,' ” Sandler said on Jimmy Kimmel Live in May 2019. “And I text [Levine], ‘I'm sorry to do this to you, my kid's getting bat mitzvahed Saturday night. Would you mind coming and singing a few tunes? It would be incredible.' ”
Levine asked for the location and then confirmed he could make it, even telling Adam that he had been to several bar mitzvahs at the same venue when he was growing up. Levine brought along his bandmate, James Valentine, and played three hit Maroon 5 songs during the party.
“It was the coolest thing, man,” Adam said, adding that Sadie “hugged [him] so much” during the performance.
Sadie is a student at New York University

Sadie is a student at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, which is also her father's alma mater.
In November 2023, Adam shared on The Jennifer Hudson Show that both of his daughters were interested in pursuing acting, and Sadie wanted to go to college for it.
“They're both very good [at acting], they both think about it a lot and work hard,” Adam said.
Sadie is a big Taylor Swift fan

Sadie is a huge Swiftie and, according to Adam, the whole Sandler family is on board.
“So many smash hits,” Adam said about Swift on Conan O'Brien's podcast in February 2024. “There's not a word my kids don't know — I know ‘em too, by the way!"
He continued, "But they know them inside and out. … Remember The Beatles? Every f—ing song on the record you knew? That's Taylor Swift, too. There's not a song you skip.”
Swift seems like a fan of the Sandlers, too. During the October 2023 premiere of her Eras Tour film, Swift ran up to the family and greeted them all with hugs.
Sadie is leading her own Netflix comedy

Sadie has had a number of small roles alongside her father in his movies, but in April 2026, her time to shine came when she led a Netflix comedy, produced by Adam.
In Roommates, Sadie stars as an incoming freshman named Devon, who struggles to fit in at her new college. To make matters worse, her roommate (played by Chloe East) is more than she bargained for.
