Last night, Cher walked the Met Gala’s red carpet for the first time since 2015. To mark her long-awaited appearance at “Fashion’s Biggest Night,” the diva wore a custom ensemble created by Burberry’s Daniel Lee, which referenced her iconic 1974 Met Gala “naked” dress.
Although I was fascinated by the swaths of lace and tulle, as a beauty-obsessed writer, I was mainly focused on uncovering what products created her radiant glam. Luckily, makeup artist Francesca Tolot broke down the all-Charlotte Tilbury look. It notably included the ultra-smoothing Airbrush Flawless Foundation, which was also used for Emily Blunt’s glowy Met Gala beat. Both stars also adorned their lids with Charlotte Tilbury’s new self-priming eyeshadow sticks, which are dropping later this month on May 28.

Fun fact: I was hyperfixated on this soft-matte foundation for years. Major selling points were that it subtly blurred my skin’s texture and provided a hydrated, non-cakey base. Creased undereyes are the bane of my existence. But seeing Cher’s smooth complexion is convincing me this concealer might be the cure. The formula is lightweight and infused with a mix of hyaluronic acid and squalane for hydration. According to one Charlotte Tilbury shopper, the concealer “gives a polished airbrushed effect, while still looking like skin.”
