The “Bodak Yellow” rapper shares her 4-year-old son Wave with ex Offset

Cardi B is working up a sweat!
On Sunday, May 17, the “Money” rapper, 33, opened up on her Instagram Stories about her experience throwing a pitch at her son Wave's baseball game. She joked that the hot outdoor setting isn't something that she typically enjoys.
In a now-viral video shared on X, Cardi is seen walking onto the field alongside her 4-year-old son as onlookers chant her name in support. Moments after being given a ball, she throws it toward the catcher while Wave stands at her side.
“This is why I say I'm such a girls' mom,” Cardi joked on Instagram. “A dance recital inside, I love it. I love a dance recital inside.”

“Being outside in this heat for a baseball game, urgh, I can't handle it,” she continued, adding, “I'm ready to pass out, I can't handle it.”
Cardi shares three children — daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 7, son Wave Set Cephus, 4, and daughter Blossom, 19 months — with her estranged husband Offset.

She welcomed a son in November 2025 with NFL star Stefon Diggs; the pair were first publicly linked in May 2025 but back in February, a source told PEOPLE that Cardi had “pulled back” from their relationship.
"Things were getting too heated and complicated. Cardi is very no-nonsense," the source said. "The second she felt that she couldn't trust him, she pulled back to focus on her kids, her music and tour."

However, in recent weeks fans have speculated that the Am I the Drama? artist and Diggs, 32, have reconciled as they've been spotted together on several occasions.
While attending a Mother's Day wellness event on Saturday, May 9, Cardi and Diggs packed on the PDA as they posed for photos.
Diggs shared a glimpse of the event on Instagram a day later with the caption, “Thank you to all the mothers for showing up yesterday and to all of our sponsors and vendors. It was a time." Cardi liked the post.

The “Bodak Yellow” appeared to be yelling at the football player during another recent sighting that went viral online. No audio from the interaction was included in the footage.
"Sometimes I forget I'm a celebrity… damn y'all ain't never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?" Cardi quipped, addressing the situation on X.
