The 'Love Island USA' season 8 cast includes a Paralympian, the daughter of a retired NBA player and the sibling of a former Islander

Get ready, Love Island USA fans — a new group of Islanders are about to take over your summer.
Season 8 of the popular reality dating show premieres on June 2, when viewers will see the first 12 singles begin their journey to find love (and win the grand prize).
Ariana Madix, who is returning as host, spoke to PEOPLE in May 2026 about the advice she gives to new Islanders before the season begins.
"It sounds cliché, but be yourself," she said. "Because being yourself is what made the people who make the show fall in love with you, and that's what's gonna make the audience fall in love with you."
Below, meet the first 12 cast members of Love Island USA season 8.

Aniya Harvey

Aniya Harvey is headed to Fiji from Tyrone, Ga.
She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with her bachelor's degree in business marketing in May 2024, per her Instagram. She also played volleyball while at the school.
Harvey's dad is former NBA player Donnell Harvey, whose career included stints with the Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets, among other teams, per ESPN.

Beatriz Hatz

Beatriz Hatz is a Paralympian coming from San Diego. However, according to her Team USA bio, she is originally from Colorado.
The track and field athlete was born without a fibula in her right leg, which resulted in the limb being amputated below the knee, per her bio. She is a two-time Paralympian and won a bronze medal when she competed in the Paralympic Games Paris 2024.
Hatz said in the Love Island USA season 8 cast promo video that her type is "tall, dark and handsome."

Bryce Dettloff

Bryce Dettloff, who is from Los Angeles, is a DJ and producer, per his Instagram bio.
The 29-year-old has been releasing music since 2022, according to his Instagram, and also has some modeling experience. In 2019, he appeared in a DKNY fragrance campaign.
In the promo video, Dettloff said that he is also a handyman: "I do electrical work on garbage trucks sometimes. It’s literally so disgusting but it’s like, you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do."

Gabriel Vasconcelos

Gabriel Vasconcelos is a model and DJ from Miami.
He said in the promo video that he is heading to the villa to "bring the Brazilian fire."
As for his love language? "Making out," he said.

KC Chandler

KC Chandler is a nursing assistant from Fresno, Calif.
"Women love men in healthcare," he said in the promo video.
As he shared on Instagram, he also hosts a run club, known as Kemet Run Athletics, in his California town.

Kenzie Annis

Kenzie Annis is from Kennesaw, Ga.
She attended nursing school at Kennesaw State University in Georgia, and graduated in May 2026, per her Instagram.
Annis said in the promo video that she wants a "huge family" with five to 10 kids.

Melanie Moreno

Melanie Moreno, who is from Los Angeles, is a manager at a bikini store.
When asked in the promo video what kind of bikini style would describe her dating life, Moreno said the "ones in the damaged bin."

Sean Reifel

Sean Reifel is a police officer from Easton, Pa.
He said in the promo video that he is looking for someone "thoughtful."
Reifel is also a dad to his son, who was born in June 2024, per his Instagram.
"You inspire me to become a better man. I love you my son ❤️," he wrote on Instagram in November 2024.

Sincere Rhea

Sincere Rhea is headed to the villa from Cape May, N.J. However, his University of Miami roster bio notes that he is from Philadelphia.
He is a track and field athlete who graduated from the University of Miami with his bachelor's degree in communication and media studies, per his LinkedIn. Rhea went on to attend Texas Tech University.
He described himself in the promo video as "cheesy" and a "chaser."

Trinity Tatum

Trinity Tatum is from Newport News, Va.
She is a model, per her Instagram bio, and said in the promo video that she wants a "fresh start" in the dating world since she comes from a "small town."
Tatum is looking for a "respectful man."

Vasana Montgomery

Vasana Montgomery is from Beaverton, Ore.
The business owner said in the promo video that she is the "full package," and that her friends would "show you the world map" if they were asked about her "type."

Zach Georgiou

Fans might recognize Zach Georgiou, because he is Love Island USA alum Charlie Georgiou's brother.
In the promo video, Zach, who is from Birmingham, England, said he was here to see if he could "do better" on the show than his brother did.
As for what he's looking for, "My girlfriend needs to love my cat or else she's out the door," he said.
