June is doing the most when it comes to love, so feel your feelings… but don't be delulu!

The month begins with Mercury entering sentimental Cancer on June 1, adding a layer of sensitivity, intuition and vulnerability to our exchanges.

This is anything but small talk and whether you try to or not, chances are you’re sensing the underlying emotions of your conversations. Let’s just say, ignoring the subtext is easier said than done.

Shortly after, Venus will meet with lucky Jupiter in Cancer on June 9, which also happens to be one of the most romantic (and auspicious) alignments of the month.

Look at it this way: Cancer is ruled by the moon and the moon rules our feelings. Jupiter magnifies everything it comes in contact with and Venus is the planet of love, affection and generosity.

This could bring everything from major heart-to-hearts and confessions to family conversations that bring love and healing.

By June 13, Venus will sashay into the cinematic and theatrical sign of Leo, making our romantic passions and heart’s desires impossible to deny. 

Under this Venus transit, we are prone to wanting more attention, affection and even praise.

On June 14, the moon will renew itself in Gemini, setting the stage for intellectually stimulating conversations and flirtatious encounters. The possibilities are endless, so stay curious!

This is followed by an electric sextile between Venus and Uranus on June 15, which can be just as surprising as it is liberating for matters of love and romance, whether it’s an unexpected attraction or someone who isn’t your usual type.

The love planet will also dance with dreamy Neptune the next day, turning up the fantasy, romance and soulmate pull, but it doesn’t end there.

On June 17, vivacious Venus will clash with Pluto retrograde, creating tension around passion, power and rage. This could be everything from obsession, jealousy, control issues and unspoken desires rising to the surface. 

Once the sun enters Cancer and the moon reaches its first quarter phase in Libra on June 21, the focus shifts toward emotional needs, commitment, compromise and the balance (or lack thereof) surrounding a relationship. 

On a brighter note, Venus trine Saturn on June 25 helps us ground our connections, or even solidify a romantic partnership. 

Also, with Mars entering Gemini on June 28, desires and curiosity are suddenly more verbal and outspoken, which can be refreshing. 

However, with Mercury stationing retrograde in Cancer on June 29 — the ruler of this Mars in Gemini transit — old feelings, conversations and even ex-lovers could circle back around for some unfinished business. 

With the moon reaching its peak in Capricorn that same day, there is a call for maturity, boundaries, honesty and discipline in our personal lives. 

This comes just in time when considering Jupiter’s ingress in Leo for the first time since July 2014 and August 2015, as it turns the volume up on our confidence and romantic desires.

This month’s astro-weather asks you to stop romanticizing love stories or praise that doesn’t actually contribute to your sense of security.  Mercury in Cancer, specifically, brings tender conversations around family, living situations or emotional history, while Venus conjunct Jupiter makes intimacy sweeter and surprisingly healing.

Once Venus and Jupiter enter Leo, you’re not only back in your element — your love life gets flirtier, sexier and all the more exhilarating. Keep in mind, Venus opposite Pluto could expose a crush, friendship or situationship with complicated power dynamics.

Your celestial ruler, Mercury, is in Cancer, pulling your focus toward self-worth, money and whether romantic connections feel generous or draining. Venus will also join Jupiter in Cancer, which can bring a confidence boost, a thoughtful gift or the feeling of being cherished for exactly who you are.

The moon will also renew itself in your sign on June 14, refreshing your identity in love, romance and friendship, making you all the more magnetic but less available for people who love you conditionally.

Leo (July 22-Aug. 22)

June starts slow, then suddenly everyone can’t take their eyes off of you, Leo.
