Oprah Winfrey said she received a special gift from Beyoncé after attending her Renaissance tour.
During an appearance on the Are You Okay? web show, the talk show host, 72, revealed that the superstar, 44, sent her a special gift after she swooned over the Grammy winner’s performance.
“I went to the Beyoncé Renaissance concert,” Winfrey says in the clip shared on Monday, July 27. “I was so blown away. I wrote her a fan letter.”
“She obviously liked the fan letter because she then sent me one of the hats from Renaissance,” she continued before exclaiming, “Beyoncé sent me a hat!”
In 2023, the television personality shared an Instagram video of her dancing with Tina Knowles and Gayle King at Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour stop in New Jersey.

“I have never in my life experienced something as transcendent,” Winfrey captioned the footage of her dancing beside the stage at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium while Beyoncé sang “Break My Soul.”
“That kind of talent, synergy, expression, and anointing is something that comes straight from a Source that creates the planets,” Winfrey added. “The dancers, the production, the musicians, and the team in front and behind the scenes, all perfectly align to create a renaissance in today’s world. You must see it 🪩💃🏽.”
In the video, Beyoncé can be seen wearing a jeweled, hot pink leotard with matching knee-high boots as she strutted down the platform with her backup dancers.
The camera then turned to Winfrey, who clapped her hands and threw them into the air as she sang along to the hit song. The camera then panned to Beyoncé’s mother, Knowles, 72, who pointed her hands up in unison as she sang along.

Winfrey attended the opening night of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in April 2025.
She hit the concert alongside King, with the duo sporting Western-inspired denim looks as a nod to the Grammy-winning country album.
In an Instagram post, King shared a carousel of photos and videos from the evening, showing off the group’s outfits. “Tonight’s the night! The outfits have been picked …@beyonce we are on the way 🤠🤠🤠,” she wrote in the caption.
In one shot, the CBS Mornings co-host poses with Winfrey along with two of their friends. Winfrey rocked an all-denim look with a floor-length, light-wash jacket that fades into white sheer fabric. She paired the coat with light-wash jeans, adding a white turtleneck and black sneakers. Her hair was worn down in voluminous waves.
Most recently, Beyoncé hit the stage for her husband Jay-Z’s 30th anniversary concert in New York City earlier in July. Ahead of the show, Beyoncé was seen shaving the rapper’s head in the stadium in an intimate moment that was shown on the screen for fans.
