Dakota Johnson’s Underwear Story Involving Barack Obama Will Turn You Fifty Shades of Red

Dakota Johnson‘s meeting with Barack Obama during his presidency did not go cha cha real smooth.

After all, the Madame Web star was introduced to the former Commander-in-Chief in a very unique way thanks to her mother Melanie Griffith.

“One time, I was with my mom and we were meeting Barack Obama—it was a huge deal,” Dakota recounted in a Vanity Fair video published Sept. 26. “He was talking to her and she goes, ‘Oh, Mr. President, this is my daughter. She just did a movie. She’s an actress, too.'”

However, Melanie went on to provide some eyebrow-raising details about the role, according to Dakota.

“‘She was in The Social Network,'” the 34-year-old recalled her mom telling the former president. . “‘She’s in her underwear.'”

Needless to say, Dakota was fifty shades of red after the exchange. As she jokingly put it, “I died inside.”

Indeed, Dakota did appear in the David Fincher-directed movie, playing a college student who spent the night with Justin Timberlake‘s Sean Parker character. Dakota’s scene involved getting out of bed while wearing pair of red underwear with “Stanford” written on the butt, before trading witty banter about schools with the *NSYNC alum.
