Jenna Dewan has a “fashionista” in the family!
Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE at the 2024 InStyle Imagemaker Awards, the actress, 44, opened up about her daughter Everly’s unique sense of style — and how the 11-year-old once went all in a favorite color.
“She wore all purple for an entire year, and I just let her,” Dewan recalls, before revealing that she has since moved on to a new trend.
“Now she’s really into … what does she call it? Softie schoolgirl? It’s a ‘thing,’ ” the Rookie star continues. “She likes that sort of preppy, but with a dash of Blackpink, if that makes sense. She’s very into that stuff.”
Dewan says Everly — whom she shares with ex-husband Channing Tatum — is “turning into a fashionista.”
“She’s always marching to the beat of her own drum,” she adds.
As for her baby daughter Rhiannon, Dewan says she is enjoying playing stylist for the 7-month-old.
“Rhiannon is still so young that she wears whatever I want her to wear, which is great,” the Step Up alum explains. “She is kind of my little doll right now and she’s so cute. She’s the cutest little doll.”

Dewan shares her younger daughter, as well as 4-year-old son Callum, with her fiancé Steve Kazee.
As Rhiannon grows up, she will likely be able to tap her older sister for style advice, as Dewan says Everly has already forged a sweet bond with her new sibling.
“Evie is obsessed with her and wants to hold her all the time and rock her and everything,” she tells PEOPLE, noting she was “shocked” by “how easy it flowed” when Rhiannon came home and joined the family mix following her June 2024 birth.
“They are great with her. They love her, they’re very into her. Very loving,” she says of Everly and Callum’s relationship with their baby sister. “I’m definitely outnumbered and my brain with scheduling three kids is a lot, but they are incredible.”
In addition to her keen eye for fashion, Everly’s dad Tatum, 44, recently revealed one of her other talents: drawing. In September, he shared a photo on his Instagram Stories featuring some artwork created by the tween.
The anime-style drawing depicts a girl sporting long blue hair — and a purple sweater, of course. The Magic Mike star wrote over the photo, “My daughter is getting sick wit it!! I can’t believe she is this good this young.”
Earlier last year, Everly had a chance to experiment with her look when she walked the red carpet alongside her dad at the New York City premiere of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To the Hashira Training on Feb. 10. In the spirit of the movie, Tatum wore a green-and-black checked sweatshirt just like lead character Tanjiro Kamado, and Everly donned a purple-dyed wig like Shinobu Kocho.
The father-daughter duo also had a little dress-up fun last May when they attended a Renaissance Fair together.
“We love ourselves a renaissance fair. She said she wanted her character to be pirate assassin,” Tatum wrote of Everly’s look for the outing in an Instagram post at the time.
“Full disclosure she has a hidden dagger in a hidden dress pocket,” the star added. “She felt so cool. lol.”
