Olympic Tennis Player Announces Divorce from Footballer Husband After She Revealed She Launched OnlyFans Account

Australian tennis player Arina Rodionova and Australian Football League player Tyrone “Ty” Vickery announced they are getting a divorce after nine years of marriage.

The Australian athletes announced their split in a Tuesday, Jan. 22, Instagram video. The former couple married in 2015, one year after the Russian-born tennis player received her Australian citizenship, per her WTA bio.

“Hey guys, we have a quick announcement to make, we’re getting divorced,” Rodionova, 35, said. “We’ve been separated for about a year. Friends and family know, but we just wanted to let the wider community know about this situation.”

Vickery, 31, added, “We’re good, we’re good with each other, wish each other the best. Thanks for the support.”

Near the end of the video, Rodionova placed her hand on Vickery, who then put his half-eaten banana in her hand, and the two burst into laughter.

“Life happens. We have lots of love for each other but sometimes it’s just not enough 💔,” the post’s caption read.

After the announcement went live, she joked about her OnlyFans content in a Wednesday, Jan. 22, Instagram Story. She reposted a headline about their split that also mentioned her OnlyFans account.

“With all these articles going around … this seems like a good time to start posting all those bikini photos from the Maldives,” the Olympian wrote. “On my OF account, obviously.”

Her Instagram bio also includes the link to her OnlyFans account. “I am a tennis player but a fun one,” reads her OnlyFans bio.

Rodionova did not formally announce when she created her account. However, when she announced she was auctioning her old tennis rackets for charity on Jan. 16, she mentioned she had an OnlyFans account.

“Oh, I should have really put makeup on. But it’s okay since this is not about my OnlyFans account, which also exists,” she said at the beginning of the Instagram video.

She has also won a WTA Tour title and a WTA 125 doubles title throughout her career. In 2023, she was ranked the top Australian women’s tennis player, and she competed in the U.S. Open in 2024. Last year, she reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 97.
