‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Star Sutton Stracke’s Family Guide: Meet Her Ex-Husband and Kids

Sutton Stracke’s family has made a few appearances on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since her debut in 2021.

The businesswoman is the mother of three kids — daughter Porter and sons Philip and James — whom she shares with ex-husband Christian Stracke. Her children’s appearances on the show are certainly few and far between, but her family became somewhat of a focal point of RHOBH during season 14 in January 2025.

Sutton went to visit her hometown in Augusta, Georgia during the season, which allowed for her and her mother, Reba, to reconnect. Sutton offered some insight into the relationship she shares with her mom during the RHOBH After Show, explaining the influence her 2016 divorce had on their bond — or lack thereof.

Reba was more “worried about herself” following Sutton’s divorce, she claimed.

“I’m like, well, can we just deal with [our divorce] first? We’ll get to you, Reba. But let’s do me first,” she said at the time. “And so, it was a bit hurtful for me.”

Reba Brown

Sutton’s mom was heavily featured during RHOBH season 14 when some of the women traveled to Georgia. Sutton further explained her relationship with her mother during the RHOBH After Show, noting that Reba was “indifferent” when she and Christian split in 2016.

“She and Christian were very close,” Sutton recalled. “They kept talking. I was like, ‘Why are you talking to him?’ She liked to call him and talk to him about what she had read in The New York Times that day. … That’s probably when they became even closer.”

She had a “long discussion” with Reba about contacting her ex.

“Like, do you not understand that this is hurting me?” Sutton continued. “But I think she’s gotten it. I think they don’t talk anymore.”

The RHOBH star’s father died by suicide in December 2002.

During a January 2024 episode of the show, Sutton said he was “supposed to be at [her] family’s house” when he died. “I, now, just miss him. I miss that he’s not seeing my children.”

Christian Stracke

Sutton was married to her ex-husband, Christian, from 2000 to 2016. He has since relocated to London, which Sutton exclusively told Us Weekly makes it difficult to coparent their kids.

“He moved in June [2023], and it’s been difficult,” she said in January 2024. “We coparent very well together, but it’s hard to coparent with someone that’s in England and I’m in California, so it’s like, the time [difference] is really far.”

Porter Stracke

Porter, Sutton and Christian’s eldest daughter, graduated from the College of William & Mary in May 2024. That same year, Sutton revealed that Porter would be going to law school.

Philip Stracke

Sutton spoke candidly about her eldest son during season 12 of RHOBH.

“After Philip graduates from high school, he’s going to The Citadel, which is actually a military school,” she shared in 2022. “I think the good news is I don’t have to decorate his room. It’s not like a Porter situation. There’s no, like, curtains and, you know, any of that stuff. I think you have to, like, bounce a quarter off your bed.”

James Stracke

James is the youngest of Sutton and Christian’s children. When Sutton discussed her ex-husband’s move to London on the show, she said that Christian wanted to take James with him.

“I was thinking, ‘Can he just take James?’” she said during a November 2023 episode. “And, then also, I didn’t know if maybe James wanted to go with him.”

James has since decided to stay with Sutton.
