Comedian Michelle Collins Jokes About Loving Meghan Markle’s Show: ‘As Someone Who Likes to Work’

Comedian Michelle Collins is having fun with Meghan Markle’s Netflix Show.

“As someone who likes to work, I love it,” Collins, 43, joked during her Monday, March 10, appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen when asked how she feels about the new series. “Here’s the problem, I just feel like you can’t have it all, and some people just want it all. Rebagging the pretzels, Andy? I don’t cook; that’s something I can do.”

Collins added that she “wanted a little bit more” from “Meghan Sussex.”

Collins’ humorous response led Andy Cohen to ask, “Did you watch the show?”

“Of course not, no no,” she quipped. “Watch it? Oh God, no.”

Cohen responded, “She saw a clip on TikTok.”

Collins joked that she saw “90 seconds” of the Netflix series and immediately loved it.

With Love, Meghan premiered via Netflix earlier this month, meeting critical reviews from some viewers. One moment from the series with Meghan and guest Mindy Kaling regarding the former actress’ last name (referenced by Collins on Monday) has gone viral. “It’s so funny you keep saying Markle,” the former Suits star said. “You know it’s Sussex now. You have kids and you go, I share my name with my children. I didn’t know how meaningful it would be to me, but it just means so much to go, this is our family name. Our little family now.”

Meghan and Harry, who wed in 2018, share Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3.

The interaction between Collins and Cohen was shared via the WWHL Instagram, with some fans unhappy with their banter.

“Low hanging fruit,” one Instagram user commented. “The show is days old and the only punchlines all these famous people have are that she rebagged pretzels and doesn’t know her own name. Someone please think up some fresh material soon bc I can’t do those 2 jokes for the next 6 months.”

Despite the social media frenzy that has come following the show, Meghan seems unbothered. She even doubled down on her name change — which has been making the most headlines — during a recent interview.

“It’s our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn’t recognized how meaningful that would be to me until we had children,” she told People in a cover story earlier this month. “I love that that is something that Archie, Lili, H and I all have together. It means a lot to me.”
