Isaac Rochell is going from the football field to the small screen.
One month after announcing his NFL retirement, Rochell, 29, took to TikTok to reveal his first official post-football gig. “I got my TV opportunity. You guys know I want to become a broadcaster, and I want to be on TV. It’s what I was made for,” he told fans in a Tuesday, March 11, TikTok upload.
“I was also made for being a trophy husband and [a] dad,” he then joked. “I did play in NFL, so I guess I was made for football, too.”
Rochell, who is married to TikTok star Allison Kuch, went on to share that he is set to appear on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football on Thursday, March 13, and Friday, March 14. “We’re gonna be talking about this free agency frenzy that’s out of control and I could not be more excited,” he explained. “I don’t think anybody’s more excited than my wife because she’s tired of me working out five times a day, trying to figure out what I’m gonna do with my life.”

In the TikTok clip, Rochell started preparing for his TV appearance by taking notes in his home gym while tuning in to the network. “I got my notebook. I feel like I’m back at Notre Dame studying, preparing, getting ready, following every single move,” he said. “And there’s a lot happening.”
Rochell concluded his post by asking fans to tune in and let him know “what you think about free agency.” He excitedly added, “This is fun now, this is fun.”
Free agency within the NFL is a topic Rochell is very familiar with — he signed as a free agent for the Indianapolis Colts in 2021 after being drafted into the league by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2017. Throughout his seven-season NFL career, Rochell went on to play for the Cleveland Browns and the Las Vegas Raiders and was released by the latter team in November 2023.
Rochell, who played college football at the University of Notre Dame, announced he was retiring from football after 19 years in the sport via Instagram last month. “Football has shaped my life in ways I could never have imagined, and I’ll forever be indebted to the game and the NFL,” he captioned photos from throughout his football journey, as well as one of himself and Kuch posing on the field.
“While I’ll always love the game, it’s time to step into a new chapter — one where I take everything I’ve learned and apply it to what comes next,” he continued. “I can’t wait to see where this next phase leads. Let’s get to work.”
In addition to sharing his TV announcement, Rochell poked fun at his NFL past via Instagram on Tuesday. “Free agency is CRAZYYYYYY and it makes me miss playing … #imstillinplayingshape,” he wrote alongside a snap of himself in his former Raiders uniform, as well as a screenshot of a DM he sent to the NFL’s Instagram page, which read, “Miss you.”
