Dr. Wendy Osefo has had enough of the rumors surrounding The Real Housewives of Potomac.
After a report surfaced claiming Bravo has delayed filming on season 10 following Karen Huger’s DUI sentencing, Osefo, 40, tried to set the record straight online.
“That’s a lie 🥂,” she wrote via Instagram on Friday, March 14.
Earlier this month, viewers watched The Real Housewives of Potomac cast come together for the show’s season 9 reunion. Osefo joined Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Mia Thornton, Stacey Rusch and Keiarna Stewart to rehash another dramatic season. (Friends Jassi Rideaux and Jacqueline Blake also made an appearance during the three-part special.)

Upon Karen Huger’s recent DUI sentencing, many of her fellow Bravo personalities and other stars have shared their thoughts. “I am shook,” Gizelle Bryant said during her February 26 event at City Winery. “This just happened today. I do not have her wigs. I am concerned. In all seriousness, I am concerned for her safety. […]
One cast member noticeably missing from the set was Huger, 61. At the time of filming, the self-proclaimed Grand Dame of Potomac entered a private recovery program, leaving her unable to attend the reunion taping.
“She was fully supported in this choice,” her manager, Ryan Tresdale, said in a statement to Bravo’s The Daily Dish on January 9. “We stand behind Karen as she embarks on this meaningful journey and are proud of her for taking such a significant step forward in her personal growth.”
One month later, a judge ordered the Bravo reality star to one year in jail after she was found guilty in her DUI trial. She is reportedly serving her sentence at Maryland’s Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
“I was definitely shocked,” Osefo told Us Weekly on February 27 after the sentence was revealed, “but I’m just keeping her in my prayers because I’m sure it’s a very difficult time for her.”
Bryant, 54, who helped launch the show with Huger in 2016, revealed that she has been in touch with family members since her costar entered jail.
“All the ladies have been very concerned about [Karen’s husband] Ray,” Bryant shared on the March 5 episode of SiriusXM’s Radio Andy Live. “I did tell him, ‘We wanna start sending you food on a weekly basis. We’re gonna take turns.’ He did say he’s overwhelmed with food, no, thank you. He knows we’re here to support in whichever way we can.”
Andy Cohen also weighed in on Huger’s “sad” sentencing during his radio show.
“I am thinking of Karen every day,” he said. “I’ve been thinking about her a lot and I’m so sad about this. I’m so sad about how this entire thing has played out.”
