Touring later this summer will be a family affair for Scotty McCreery.
The country music star, 31, told PEOPLE exclusively on the red carpet of the Opry 100: A Live Celebration event in Nashville on March 19 that he’s looking forward to some serious jam sessions — and even more serious family time — during the warmer months ahead.
“It all kind of goes around the tour schedule and stuff, but we’re going to the U.K. to do a tour,” McCreery said. “My whole family’s coming … my parents, my in-laws, my wife, my kids.”
“So we’ll make a little family vacation out of the European tour, and see a lot of fans, … and we’ll do all the tourist stuff, I’m sure, take all the pictures. It’ll be a good time,” he added.
McCreery and his wife, Gabi, tied the knot in June 2018, but have been together since high school.
The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Merrick Avery McCreery — whom they refer to as Avery — in October 2022.
The “Five More Minutes” singer announced his string of U.K. summer shows at the tail end of 2024, with stops scheduled for Belfast, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London between May 23 and May 30.

“It’s been too long and I cannot wait to come back to the U.K.,” McCreery said as a part of his official announcement of the tour dates. “We’ve had so many e-mails and social media posts from fans asking us to return, and I’m happy to say ‘We’re coming!’ ”
“I’ve never been to Belfast or Birmingham before, and I am looking forward to visiting those cities. I’ve only been to Glasgow as part of C2C a few years ago, so I’m excited to come on my own,” he added. “And the band and I had a blast the last time we were in London and Manchester, so I knew we had to come back there. It’s always special to come and perform in the U.K.”

McCreery has had a busy 2025 already. He started touring stateside at the beginning of February in Texas, and he will continue doing so until his U.K. dates.
He is set to later return to the U.S. in mid-June to close out his tour with stops in Idaho, Minnesota, South Dakota, Ohio, Iowa and Illinois.
The Opry 100: A Live Celebration is available to stream on Peacock.
