Eiza González seemingly has a new man in her life.
González, 35, was photographed holding hands with Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov on Wednesday, April 30, in Madrid, during what appeared to be a date. González and Dimitrov, 33, dressed casually for the outing in Spain’s capital, with the Ambulance actress wearing a black jacket to match black pants and matching shoes. Dimitrov wore a dark jacket and shirt matched with tan pants and white sneakers.
The Fountain of Youth actress’s outing with the ATP Tour’s no. 16 male tennis player in the world came days after she attended one of Dimitrov’s matches at the Madrid Open on Saturday, April 26. A video shared by a fan on X showed González telling the athlete, “Amazing, baby, amazing,” as Dimitrov embraced her while greeted her and a group of others that included Eva Longoria following the match.
The Bulgarian tennis star was eliminated from this year’s Madrid Open earlier in the day on April 30, when he lost his fourth round match at the tournament to Canada’s Gabriel Diallo.
González has been romantically linked to a number of celebrities in the past, including NBA player Ben Simmons and actors like Jason Momoa, Timothée Chalamet, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Duhamel. However, the actress told InStyle in March 2024 that she had “sort of given up on dating” and she was “not looking anymore” at that time. Dimitrov was romantically connected to fellow tennis player Maria Sharapova and actress-singer Nicole Scherzinger at different times in the 2010s.

Prior to that interview, González had most recently been connected to NBA player Simmons, 28, for a short period of time in 2023; she and A Minecraft Movie star Momoa, 45, dated for several months in 2022 after his split from ex-wife Lisa Bonet. González opened up about her dating habits and requirements for a romantic partner in that interview, noting that she would not consider dating anybody who is not in therapy and that she is “dying to have kids” one day.
“And the older I get, it’s harder for me because I don’t play around,” she said of dating at the time. “I go in and I give it all. I am not going to half-a– anything.”
Judging by González’s Instagram posts, she appears to have set off for Paris after spending time with Dimitrov in Madrid this week to promote Fountain of Youth, her new movie with Natalie Portman and John Krasinski. That movie releases on Apple TV+ May 23.
