Bella Hadid Finally Reveals If She’s Had a Facelift or Fox Eye Surgery

Bella Hadid is setting the record straight when it comes to her alleged use of cosmetic surgery.

Hadid, 28, opened up about what work she’s had done while chatting with British Vogue on Tuesday, May 13. In a social media clip, she took fans through her makeup routine while creating her signature foxy look. “They always laugh. People think I’ve gotten a facelift or gotten that cat-eye thing, whatever it’s called,” she said, referencing a “fox eye” surgery that gives an almond-shaped and snatched appearance. “But I’m going to teach you an easier way.”

Hadid then reached for her Orebella perfume, which she subbed for a hair gel because she didn’t have any, and sprayed the scent into her brunette strands. She then slicked her mane back with the fragrance and pulled her tresses into a tight updo, proving her lifted look is from the hairdo. “That was like 60 seconds of a snatcheroo,” she quipped.

The supermodel — who has been open about getting a nose job at just 14 years old — went on to explain that the “natural” glam was her day-to-day look, sharing that when she has a full beat on, her alter ego, named Belinda, takes over.

Bella Hadid’s fashion sense is award worthy. From low-rise skirts and retro shades to bucket hats and plunging necklines, the supermodel can rock any outfit. One of her most talked about looks came at the 2022 Met Gala. For fashion’s biggest night, Hadid looked fierce in a Burberry leather corset, lace tights and a sheer […]

“[Belinda] slays for me during the day, but when I get home I’m Bella again,” she said.

In her interview with British Vogue, also published on Tuesday, Hadid further opened up about her alter ego.

“Belinda just does her job. She slays,” Hadid noted. “She can be crying from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. but by the time she gets to work, a smile [is] on her face and she’s going to do her job and get through it. That’s Belinda for me.”

Hadid shared that she feels “emotional” talking about her alter ego because she used Belinda as a “mask” for “a very long time.”

“When I get home I am just a depletion. I’m a skeleton,” she candidly said.

She added: “I think back to other moments where I was working for a jewelry company in Venice years ago, or doing a magazine cover, and I can tell exactly on each image the emotion I felt. Which day I cried, which day I felt pain. I went up to someone a couple weeks ago and was like, ‘I’m so sorry for that shoot that we did in Puglia.’ And she’s like: ‘What are you talking about? It was the best shoot.’ Little did she know I was crying behind the set after every shot. But I guess I covered up well enough.”

When it comes to her true self, Hadid somewhat regrets getting a rhinoplasty so young, and often wonders how she would have grown into her “ancestral nose.”
