James Maslow has been upgraded from boyfriend.
The Big Time Rush singer proposed to longtime love Caitlin Spears while vacationing on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
Dressed in a navy suit, the Nickelodeon alum got down on one knee on the Hotel Cetus balcony and popped the question to the certified health coach, who wore white, linen maxi dress.
As they shared in a joint Instagram post May 14, “Forever sounds good with you.”
And for James, he’s been planning for this moment for forever.
“I wanted this moment to be 100 percent about Caitlin,” he told Us Weekly in an interview published May 14, “so I booked a trip to the Amalfi Coast for just us, told (almost) nobody, and enlisted the help of a random hotel and a few other Italian strangers to pull off a pretty amazing and romantic moment, if I do say so myself.”
His fiancée would agree. “It was truly a breathtaking moment and one of the most magical moments of my life. He did good,” a “shocked” Caitlin shared, “very good!”
