Bachelor in Paradise alum Michael Allio has officially welcomed his girlfriend Jade Marie Chapman into his home.
Allio, 42, shared a video via Instagram on Sunday, May 25, confirming what fans have suspected for months.
“Dear home,” he narrated the video, which featured several clips of himself, his young son James and Chapman. “Oh, you’ve seen a lot over the years. A witness to first steps and quiet tears, to healing in progress and love and motion. And now, something new. You’ll feel it in the extra footsteps, the new laughter drifting down the hall, the subtle shift of change as hearts stretch to hold more.”
“But just like you had before, you’ll make space once again, for new love, new memories to grow. And so, a new story begins. One that’s ours, filled with moments that feel like home, and the kind of love that only grows when shared,” he continued. “Don’t worry, you’ll still be the place for sticky counters, deep talks, laughter and love. Because the heart of this home remains. Only now, it beats a little louder. Thank you for letting love live here, in a new way.”

Allio’s previous wife, Laura, died six years ago. In January, the reality star shared a post on Instagram in which he reflected on her loss.
“It’s been six years since Laura passed. Never stop saying their name. Thank you to all of those people that helped get me here. I know it hasn’t been easy but I couldn’t have done it without you,” he wrote.
The caption accompanied a series of slides highlighting a story he once told Laura about angelfish. “I shared something I’d read about Angelfish — that they mate for life, and when one dies, the other often follows, as though they can’t bear to live without their partner. She smiled, her eyes lighting up at the thought, and said, ‘That’s beautiful,’” Allio wrote.
“Years later I’d learn that Angelfish don’t actually die from heartbreak, but instead exhibit confusion with their partner no longer there. That was over a decade ago,” he continued. “Now, six years since Laura passed, I know firsthand how heartbreak can feel like a kind of death.”
Allio confirmed his relationship with Chapman in January. “We met in 2021 and became instant friends,” he began a post shared on Instagram. “For years, that’s exactly how we stayed — always there for each other at any hour, sharing laughs when life got tough, and offering support when it was needed most. There’s something special about being friends first. It sounds obvious, but I’d never truly experienced it until I met her.”
“From the moment I wake up, she’s in my thoughts, lifting my hope and filling my heart,” he continued. “She’s the light that shines through the cracks, fitting seamlessly into our lives and completing our family in ways I never imagined possible.”
