Machine Gun Kelly is reminiscing on a sweet moment before the birth of his and ex Megan Fox’s newborn daughter.
“My baby and my oldest daughter [Casie] is my most important thing,” Kelly, 35, said on the Monday, May 26, American Music Awards red carpet. “She is feeling sick today so I’m just going to walk the carpet and go back and give my baby some love. I’m a dad, man. And blessings come with your children so the more you give to them they also fill your soul up and I’m able to provide and give something to the world.”
Kelly (real name Colson Baker) quipped that his “biggest party night” is at the house with his “baby” singing to his infant, whom he welcomed with Fox, 39, in March.
“Singing ‘Cliche’ over and over,” he said of what he does at home with this littlest one before adding, “That was the first song I played to Megan’s belly. And she started kicking.”

Kelly and Fox — who met on the set of the 2020 film Midnight in the Switchgrass — announced their engagement in 2022. The twosome called it quits shortly after Fox announced her pregnancy in November 2024.
Months later, the exes welcomed their daughter. (Kelly is also dad to daughter Casie, 15, with ex Emma Cannon, while Fox shares sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.)
“She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed 🥹💓♈️♓️♊️ . 3/27/25,” Kelly wrote via Instagram at the time, alongside a video of the newborn. (The baby’s name has not yet been revealed.)
Following the birth of their daughter, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Kelly and Fox are “absolutely not getting back together at this point in time.” The insider noted, however, that Fox is “grateful” that Kelly has been helpful while coparenting.
The source said that while their daughter lives full-time with Fox, Kelly has been “coming and going” and staying a few nights a week to help. Fox, however, is the one who “makes the rules” and Kelly is “very aware of this,” the insider shared. The source also said that Kelly has stopped bringing up his and Fox’s relationship status and the exes are instead “all about the baby.”
“Megan thinks MGK has stepped up and is being a good dad but doesn’t think they have a future together romantically,” the insider explained. “Megan is in heaven with her baby girl and is really focused on being a mom right now.”
