Jordon Hudson Flashes Ring, Continues to Fuel Engagement Rumors With Bill Belichick

Jordon Hudson has a brand new rock on her left hand, fueling rumors that the 23-year-old beauty queen is engaged to her 73-year-old boyfriend, Bill Belichick.

Hudson sported the new bling while waiting for a flight to Boston at the Raleigh-Durham Airport on Saturday, May 24, in photos obtained by TMZ Sports. Belichick was named head football coach at the University of North Carolina in nearby Chapel Hill in December 2024. 

Talk of wedding bells for Hudson and Belichick, 73, escalated after a Tuesday, May 20, profile of Hudson was published in The New York Times, in which a source alleged Hudson has “told at least one person that she and Mr. Belichick are engaged to be married.”

Us Weekly has reached out to Hudson and Belichick for comment.

Belichick seemed to give some credence to the engagement rumors this month, as well. 

On the same day Hudson’s profile was published in the Times, TMZ Sports obtained photos of Belichick’s boat, which had recently undergone a paint job. 

The boat was previously named Eight Rings, a nod to the legendary football coach’s number of Super Bowl wins. According to the outlet, the boat’s name has recently been changed to One Plus Eight Rings, a perceived connection to an engagement to Hudson.

For what it’s worth, journalist Pablo Torre reported on his “Pablo Torre Finds Out” podcast on Friday, May 23, that Belichick has recently told people that he and Hudson are not engaged. 

Belichick was previously married to wife Debby Clarke from 1977 to 2006. The couple share three children: daughter Amanda, 41, and sons Steve, 38, and Brian, 37. 

After his divorce from Clarke, Belichick dated girlfriend Linda Holliday from 2007 until September 2023. 

Belichick and Hudson reportedly met on a plane in 2021. According to a previous episode of “Pablo Torre Finds Out” last month, Hudson was allegedly 19 years old when they first made acquaintances. 

After being spotted in public together for months, Belichick and Hudson finally made their relationship official in October 2024. 

In the time since, the couple has made headlines for their controversial courtship, most notably during a viral interview Belichick gave on CBS Sunday Morning last month. 

Hudson, who was sitting off camera, interjected when reporter Tony Dokoupil inquired about how the pair met. 

“We’re not talking about this,” Hudson said. 

Subsequently, Torre reported on his podcast that Hudson had been banned from the University of North Carolina football facilities. Shortly after the report, however, the school refuted the reporting. 

“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,” Carolina Athletics said in a statement to Us Weekly on May 9. “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.”

In the time since, Belichick has gushed about Hudson’s role in his life, both personally and professionally. 

“She’s been through the whole process, she’s been very helpful to me,” Belichick said May 16 on Good Morning America. “She does the business things that don’t relate to North Carolina that come up in my life so I can concentrate on football, and that’s really what I want to do. You know, I acknowledged her in the book, she was very helpful on all that … and also, giving a perspective of the book from the business side. Sometimes I get a little football technical and she did a good job of keeping me on balance there.”
