To walk the red carpet, Erivo wore a blush-colored Schiaparelli set with a structured velvet off-the-shoulder bodice covered in beading and pearls. The matching column skirt draped to the floor, while the back of the top had an exaggerated corset that laced up.

Erivo then kicked off the show in a custom GapStudio embroidered red paillette and crystal overlay gown featuring a white duchess satin collar and belt. It was designed by Gap Inc. executive vice president and creative director Zac Posen alongside Erivo’s stylist Jason Bolden.

She wore the show-stopping gown to perform the opening number while flanked by a massive choir all wearing white.

But that outfit didn’t last long. She quickly changed into her second look, this one a tea-length black dress with a tight-fitting bodice covered in sequin roses. The skirt was covered in feathery ruffles and more sequin roses and the shorter length offered a peek at her platform boots underneath.

The actress then headed to the upper mezzanine of the venue to introduce Jonathan Groff’s medley performance as Bobby Darin in Just in Time. To do so, she wore a vibrant pink balloon-skirt Marc Jacobs dress covered in oversize sequins from the designer’s Runway 2025 Collection. She paired it with black patent leather pointy-toe shoes.

The Tony Award winner next cosplayed as George Clooney in Good Night, and Good Luck in a slim-fit black and white tuxedo that consisted of black pants and a white jacket with black lapels. Though she was only sitting behind a desk on stage, further photos showed off the outfit in all its glory.

Erivo switched things up again to introduce the 10th anniversary performance of Hamilton. The original cast came back together to perform a medley, and the Wicked actress welcomed them to the stage while wearing an ankle-length black and baby pink dress. The strapless dress featured a pink sash tied around her waist that fell to the hemline with an oversize rosette. She accessorized with black opera gloves and plenty of diamond jewelry.

While performing the In Memoriam with Sara Bareilles, Erivo wore yet another sparkly gown, this one black and gold. Her dress featured a capelet over a long column dress that pooled around her feet. The black sequins featured peekaboo panels to show off the gold sequins. It also had long sleeves and a mock turtleneck.

Erivo made a brief appearance in her next look, ribbing Oprah Winfrey during the show while wearing an oversize black puffy coat dress dotted with bedazzled details. She wore it over pants and a tube top. By the next time the actress appeared on screen, she was already in a new ‘fit!

Speaking of that ‘fit, it was a black and gold trompe l’œil beaded snakeskin-print tailored trench coat with voluminous sleeves and an oversize collar, cinched by a fitted corset from the SS25 Ashi Studio collection. She wore the look to welcome Auli’i Cravalho to the stage to present the Real Women Have Curves performance.

But that’s not all! She sang the show off the air in one last look, her 10th. This one was a sparkly purple gown with a feathery pink off-the-shoulder neckline and feathers dotting the skirt.

“I am so proud and excited to take on this glorious honor,” Erivo said in a statement after being announced as host in February. “I am looking forward to ushering the theater community at large through a night that celebrates the wonderful performances we have witnessed throughout the year.
