Fans of Teen Mom 2 have gotten a glimpse at David Eason’s blended family over the years.

Eason began his relationship with 16 and Pregnant alum Jenelle Evans in 2015. The pair went on to welcome daughter Ensley together in January 2017, eight months before they tied the knot. The now-separated couple’s relationship and family life were documented on Teen Mom 2 until Evans’ exit from the reality series in 2019.

Son Kaden With Olivia Leedham

Eason welcomed son Kaden with ex-girlfriend Olivia Leedham on November 16, 2013. Leedham has full custody of Kaden after a court battle with Eason in 2019, according to multiple reports.

Eason hinted at his custody battle with Leedham in an August 2021 Instagram post, writing alongside a photo of Kaden, “I will never stop fighting for you Kaden David Eason! I love you more than you could ever imagine!”

In addition to Kaden, Leedham is a mom of daughter Lailah from a previous relationship. Lailah tragically died at 7 years old in June 2025 after having a seizure, Leedham’s mom confirmed to People.

“Our friend Olivia Leedham tragically lost her beautiful seven-year-old daughter, Lailah Price, yesterday,” read a GoFundMe made to help raise money for living expenses after the loss. “She was in the emergency room several times without a diagnosis, and while in the hospital Friday night, she had a seizure and passed away early Saturday morning, June 7th.”

The description continued, “Olivia is a single mom to Kaden, age 10, and Lailah, age 7. Lailah was a bright light in our family and loved life and Jesus very much.”

More than $15,000 was raised as of June 12, 2025, with the GoFundMe’s organizer expressing gratitude in an update.

“Olivia and her family are overwhelmed by the generosity of their friends and family,” the message read.

Daughter Maryssa With Whitney Rich

Eason shares eldest daughter Maryssa with ex Whitney Rich. Rich lost custody of Maryssa in 2017 due to substance abuse issues. Though Eason and Evans temporarily lost custody of their kids in May 2019 after the welder admitted to killing the family’s dog, they were granted custody again that July.

Eason frequently posts updates on Maryssa’s life via Instagram. In January 2025, he shared that she had graduated high school early.

“Maryssa is such a beautiful, strong minded person!” he wrote alongside a photo of himself and his daughter at her graduation. “She has overcome all obstacles in her way, she lives above the influence and lets nothing hold her back! I believe she can do absolutely anything she puts her mind to! I’m so proud of my Sweetpea! Congratulations to her for graduating early with a CNA certification!”

Evans gave birth to Ensley in January 2017. The Teen Mom star also shares son Jace with ex Andrew Lewis and son Kaiser with ex Nathan Griffith.

News broke in March 2024 that Evans had filed for separation from Eason after six years of marriage. She listed their date of separation as February 16, 2024, according to court docs obtained by The Sun.

Evans said that she filled out the paperwork with “the intent that the separation be permanent.” Additionally, she claimed that Eason had “exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards [her]” throughout their marriage.

Evans told Us Weekly in June 2025 that she’s ready to sign divorce papers and close this chapter of her life.

“I’m feeling great because I’m taking the time to heal for myself and taking this time to be alone,” she said ahead of her “I Do, I Did, I’m Done” divorce party at Spearmint Rhino on June 12, 2025. “And I’ve always jumped from relationship to relationship, so I feel like this is the best time for me to finally learn to be alone and tell myself it’s okay to be alone and just focus on your kids and you don’t need to always have a man there beside you.”
